Man faces life in prison for killing girlfriend’s molester, says he’s ‘not sorry’

Fox News

A Louisiana man who faces a mandatory life term in prison after confessing to the brutal killing of his girlfriend’s convicted molester said he is “not sorry” for what he did.

The Advocate reported that Jace Crehan was found guilty Thursday in the 2015 stabbing and strangling death of Robert Noce Jr, who was 47.

Noce, a former boyfriend of Brittany Monk’s mother, was reportedly sleeping in his trailer during the early morning attack. Crehan reportedly stuffed his body into a 55-gallon container.

Brittany Monk and Jace Crehan. Monk faces up to 40 years in prison and Crehan faces a life sentence in the killing death of Monk's molester. The report said that 13 days before the killing, Noce pleaded “no contest” in Baton Rouge to sexually molesting Monk, 20.

Monk reportedly admitted to participating in the killing while she was seven months pregnant, and pleaded guilty earlier this year to manslaughter. She faces up to 40 years.

The report said it took the jury an hour to convict Crehan, who did not react at the verdict. His grandparents, who were reportedly in the courtroom, cried.

“You don’t want people going out taking justice into their own hands,” Hillar Moore III, the district attorney, said. The report said his office declined attempts from Crehan to reduce the charges to manslaughter.

Crehan’s lawyers, in the closing arguments, called the killing a revenge in the heat of the moment. Crehan was heard on tape talking with authorities admitting to the crime.

“I feel a lot better. It’s not regret. Is it remorse? I’m not sorry for what I did,” he said, according to the report.

  1. Sounds like the judge, jury, d.a./prosecutor, and the pigs need to meet REAL justice, because theirs doesn’t work.

Spineless coward stupid jury probably never even thought of such a thing as nullification and was definitely instructed by the kings tranny in their lbd to never mind all the mitigating circumstances.

Street justice should be administered to them as a lesson to their worthless peers. They don’t want US using it because they know they’re protected by their system and are safe if it’s the only one we can use. Necessity is the mother of invention.

  2. “You don’t want people going out taking justice into their own hands,” Hillar Moore III, the district attorney, said.
Why not? There’s no “justice” anywhere near a courtroom adorned with a gold-fringed American flag!
I agree with Martist…the jury et al. were OBVIOUSLY coerced by Big Brother. Perhaps “they” don’t want this to rule as an example for Americans as it could lead to the lynching of 90% of Hollywood.
    This is a travesty.

  3. Just one more example for not saying anything to your enemy. He showed no remorse? How did they come to that conclusion? Because unfortunately, he said so. What would have been the jury’s conclusion otherwise?
That his girlfriend was involved in the meeting out of this retribution is another clue to getting to any understanding of this story.
    Does that conclusion sound right?

  4. Perhaps, if more people exacted retribution in a personal fashion, such as this article describes, there might be a reduction of these instances.
Consequences for your actions? Not in the current court system. DIY.

    1. It’s only a matter of time before that becomes the necessity. The system is broken. If the FBI is dysfunctional, what about the rest of the justice system in America?

  5. Should have never admitted to it to begin with neither of them Dumbass.
‘s. they could have alibied each other and said they were doin it in the bedroom when it happened. I will never tell where all the bodies are hidden, Chopped up, Cremated etc.

  6. We all know how this should be handled, everyday we are getting closer to American National justice as discribed by the founders, more than 200 years ago. Keep the pressure on, oh yeah, fk Hollywood. Nothing more than a bunch of high priced scumbags who are overpaid to act as somebody else, my pet goldfish sometimes acts like a shark, he does it for free.

IT’S THE ONLY JUSTICE THEY’LL GET!!!!!

The article doesn’t mention any other evidence they had against him. He’d probably be a free man if he kept his mouth shut. (it says he stuffed the body into a 55 gal. container but doesn’t say how that was tied to him)
