Gallery Stuart-Rodgers is very excited to present its fourth installment “Matter of Time,” with images by Chicago photographer Kenneth Burkhart. Armed with a digital camera and a hand held spotlight, he captured thousands of perplexing images of the vacated Zenith plant before its demolition. Ben Calhoun, a political reporter for Chicago Public Radio, contributed his critically acclaimed documentary work to this show by creating an audio montage from the people that used to work at the plant, putting a human story behind the images.
Thanks Wade. Wow the memories. A friend’s mother worked there for many years and when it closed it was indeed a sad day.
