Went to Walmart today for some black fabric for a project and there is NO fabric left except netting.

What’s with people hoarding thread? Is this for all the masks they are making? Gees………..

It will be interesting to see if they restock the items or if they’ve been deemed non essential. Perhaps people think this whole thing will end up with being forced to make their own clothes.
I have never seen the notions dept this depleted. They must be removing these items.

Believe it or not some are using rubber bands! Bwahahahahahahahahah!
I’m trying to look at the bright side–maybe folks (women mostly) really are learning how to make their own clothes, or at least repair them, Like I’ve said before, at this point no one, not even men, have an excuse to not learn sewing and to use a sewing machine (and are there still sewing machines available for sale?) and to sew in buttons, etc.
As for women, learn how to change tires, fan belts, change oil, add oil, fluids, etc. because this isn’t a “men only” task.
It’s not just about “essential products”…it’s also about essential time-honored skills! And now is the time to learn them!
