The “National Anthem” was written for a country that existed a long time ago, and does not exist any more. The reality this is a country in a state of enemy occupation and if we stand and solute the flag and Francis Scot Key’s wonderful song it will be in commemoration of our brilliantly courageous ancestors and perhaps a glimmer of hope for the future.
As for this Jerk? There are a lot of people who call themselves “Christians”, and use any excuse imaginable to sit on their dead butts and do nothing to win this cold civil war soon to go HOT. They disgust me and I revile them. They are worse than this enemy occupying force. They claim Jesus didn’t fight an evil Government, nor did he advocate we do so. That really is not true. We find numinous passages in the bible where it tells us to resist tyranny and evil. Jesus said himself that he came to fulfill the old testament. Most of these Apostate preachers won’t preach fighting against evil tyrannical government even though it is right there in the bible commanding us to. Any doubt GOOGLE it. Luke 22:34-36, and Psalms 94:16 was not hard to find.
