Dramatic footage shows the engine of a Delta Airlines plane falling apart at 10,000ft forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing.
The 32-year-old aircraft was flying from Atlanta to Baltimore in the US on Monday when passengers heard a “boom” and spotted that one engine’s nose cone, or spinner, had broken off.
Not sure, from the nose shot it looks like a DC-9. 42 years old, that would fit.
Stewardess : Captain , it seems were losing an engine due to some malfunction , we can see it out the window
Captain : no worries we have two engines
Stewardess : so how far will the second engine get us?
Captain : to the scene of the accident , which is pretty convenient as were almost there now
