Thank you, Koyote. Wow, I did not know about that Ben Franklin bit. I mean I knew about his sexual perversions but not about his opinion on Jews. I did a search. Didn’t find a direct use of the word “asiatics” but found what he wrote concerning Jews which I’ll post below. You summarized well what Franklin put forth. Amazing that back then this awareness was so evident. However, there are (of course) those who debunk the authenticity of the whole thing, culminating with Congress fully discrediting it and calling it a “forgery.” Anyway, here’s the text for anyone who’s interested:

Well, I know there are some vile accounts out there of Franklin’s escapades and misdeeds, if one were to search. There’s The Hellfire Club and everything else Koyote mentioned, so I can’t say the word “respect” would work for me. It’s kinda like the devil saying, “I’ll give you your guns, but keep your soul.”
Sometimes it’s just so hard to understand how something so good can come from someone so bad.
