Therefor, it becomes incumbent upon each individual that treasures their freedom to preserve it by way of the 2nd Article, which was forced into the constitution BEFORE it could be ratified. My right to live free existed before this govt. was formed, like it says, at birth.

George Mason refused to sign the Constitution until it had a declaration of a [bill of rights] for “the people”. He was one of three that initially refused to sign the Constitution.
I don’t know who that is. But you made me want to look into Mason more. Interesting last name, though. So, if I read it right, The Declaration of Rights preceded The Bill of Rights. Have not yet studied it enough to know what the major differences are. Homework ahead.
