Truth DigLest we forget that religion can provide a powerful cover for those looking to abuse the trust of believers, The New Jersey Star-Ledger reports that a local archdiocese built a lavish addition to an archbishop’s retirement home two years after closing a school for alleged lack of funds.
According to the paper:
The 4,500-square-foot home sits on 8.2 wooded acres in the hills of Hunterdon County. With five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a three-car garage and a big outdoor pool, it’s valued at nearly $800,000, records show.
But it’s not quite roomy enough for Newark Archbishop John J. Myers.
Myers, who has used the Franklin Township house as a weekend residence since the archdiocese purchased it in 2002, is building a three-story, 3,000-square-foot addition in anticipation of his retirement in two years, The Star-Ledger found. He will then move in full-time, a spokesman for the archbishop said.

Sorry they don’t the nuns do for they are not men and must depend on the church for support. Well that is how it was in the past now they have to earn their own living. Only the cloistered nuns remain as it was and they are slowly dying out. Priests never took a vow of poverty in the modern world.

Ever notice that most if not all of these catholic leaders are pleasingly plump well fed wiggly cheaked and thick lipped – yea every one if not all of them seem to be and that means most all of them from the bishops/archbishops on up – just look at them. And that doesn`t even include their satanic like singing and chanting.
Yea this house/ mansion is probobly considered the churches property and this Archbishop is the caretaker is what he will most likely say if and when if ever questioned about this – what a scam, especially when they close a school due to lack of funds.

Yea this place could almost be a cheap playboy mansion with a bunch of naughty penguin nuns running around – those nuns do dress up and do look like human sized penguins don`t they.
Not any more Vatican II took care of that now many wear street clothes or blue suits.
