Newly-Licensed Mom Pulls Concealed Weapon, Shoots At Attackers, Saves Son

columbusBearing Arms – by Bob Owen

An Ohio mother didn’t limply “demand action” when a pair of thugs opened fired on her 13-year-old son, wounding him in both feet.

Instead, she pulled her own legally concealed weapon and opened fire, forcing them to flee for their lives:

A mother and her 13-year-old son were at the corner store in their neighborhood when police say two men approached them and opened fire, shooting her son in both feet. That’s when the mom pulled out her licensed gun and shot back.

The mom, who doesn’t want to be identified, said she immediately recognized one of the suspects Kevin Hayden, when he walked up to Wilson Market Sunday. She says Hayden and his friends have been harassing her for years, after breaking into her home.

The mother had jut received her concealed carry permit after Hayden and his friends had tormented her family for years.

I have it suppose that if Hayden didn’t care to cover his face before he opened fire that he had every intention of trying to kill the 13-year-old and his mother, and thought that he would get away with it.

He didn’t count on running into a legally armed mother willing to take action to defend her family with a legally concealed handgun.

The 13-year-old is now recovering from gunshot wounds to both feet, while Hayden is in jail, awaiting trial.

It took a good woman with a gun to put criminal cowards with guns to flight, and eventually, behind bars.

  1. I’m just sorry she didn’t shoot the bastard dead. Now tax payers will have to support this dripping from Satan’s left testicle by giving him food, shelter and medical care.

  2. So we need a permit to bear arms now? I guess our communist government will pick and choose who they give a permit to.
