Let me guess cell phone or was it their google glasses?
If it was FWD rather than RWD they may have had a chance to correct the loss of traction via the center ice/snow patch between directional traffic. The obvious jerk of the wheel to the right didn’t help either. A truck/suv with RWD is not always the best option when traveling on snow or ice covered roads.

I’m SURE it was a cellphone. Freakin’ idiots can’t leave them alone. You should the fools here in Phoenix on those things. It’s just amazing. There’s hardly a trip that I make anywhere anymore that I couldn’t get a new truck out of if I wanted to cause the accident would certainly be their fault.
