BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Two longtime UPS employees killed in a shooting at a package-processing facility in Alabama were supervisors who had worked for the shipping giant for years, the company said Wednesday.
In a 40-minute address to the UN General Assembly on Wednesday, President Barack Obama described the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (or ISIS) as “a network of death” and called on world leaders to join the U.S. in taking “concrete steps to address the danger posed by religiously motivated fanatics, and the trends that fuel their recruitment.”
A large data breach at Home Depot Inc. HD +1.67% has started to trigger fraudulent transactions that are rippling across financial institutions and, in some cases, draining cash from customer bank accounts, according to people familiar with the impact of the hacking attack.
The fraudulent transactions are showing up across the U.S. as criminals use stolen card information to buy prepaid cards, electronics and even groceries, these people said. In some cases, the fraudulent transactions have been tracked to batches of cardholder accounts that are tied to specific ZIP Codes, they said. Governor Jindal of Louisiana made some very significant comments in a recent address, forewarning our elected failures in Washington, D.C. that the end of the world as they know it, could be just around the corner. Jindal has been making headlines lately, calling for an end to Common Core State Standards within his state, and now seeming to realize that millions of Americans are considering a second ‘rebellion,’ if necessary.
Jindal isn’t far off the mark in making this statement. Several politically motivated Facebook pages, groups, and organizations are, or have, attempted to launch protests in an effort to voice grievances against the overly abusive nature of our current federal government. The number of scandals associated with the Obama administration, coupled with the inactivity of all 535 members of Congress, has more Americans seriously thinking of ways to rectify the situation, even if it means going the route of rebelling with arms against tyranny. Regina “Gina” McCarthy is the administrator for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and she is killing the provision of electricity to the nation and, at the same time, is taking control of every drop of water in the United States, as an attack on its agricultural sector.
Like the rest of the Obama administration, Regina “Gina” McCarthy has no regard for real science and continues to reinterpret the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts. Overall, this agenda threatens every aspect of life in the nation. Continue reading “Regina “Gina” McCarthy is a traitor”
Here’s a thought most of us don’t want to entertain: Could you or I, or a close family member or neighbor, be thrown into jail, publicly branded a criminal, and fined thousands, or even millions of dollars for allegedly violating an obscure federal regulation we didn’t even know about?
Yes, it could happen. It has happened to many unfortunate Americans. And it is almost certain to happen with greater frequency, as the Obama administration’s regulatory police begin enforcing the avalanche of new federal regulations. The U.S. Treasury Department continued to approve “excessive” pay raises for top executives at General Motors and its former consumer finance arm, both of which received taxpayer-funded bailouts during the financial crisis, a new government report says.
The government watchdog that oversees the $475 billion bailout said Treasury approved cash salaries exceeding $500,000 last year for 16 of the 47 top executives at General Motors Corp. and Ally Financial Inc. Treasury allowed total pay packages, including company stock, of at least $1 million for every top executive at the two companies, according to the report released Wednesday by the special inspector general for the Troubled Asset Relief Program. For eleven days now, forest fires have raged around us. Worsened by the drought on the West Coast, a seemingly unquenchable inferno is eating up the trees, the brush, and anything that gets in its way. It’s like the fire is a living thing, one that wants to get free and consume everything.
Not only are local police departments across the United States increasingly relying on so-called StingRay devices to conduct surveillance on cell phone users, but cops are being forced to keep quiet about the operations, new documents reveal.
Recent reports have indicated that law enforcement agencies from coast to coast have been turning to IMSI-catcher devices, like the StingRay sold by Florida’s Harris Corporation, to trick ordinary mobile phones into communicating device-specific International Mobile Subscriber Identity information to phony cell towers — a tactic that takes the approximate geolocation data of all the devices within range and records it for investigators. Recently, the Tallahassee Police Department in the state of Florida was found to have used their own “cell site simulator” at least 200 times to collect phone data without once asking for a warrant during a three-year span, and details about the use of StingRays by other law enforcement groups continue to emerge on the regular. LOS ANGELES — An angry federal judge handed down prison terms Tuesday to six current and former members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for obstructing a federal investigation into civil rights abuse and corruption inside L.A. County jails.
The Gaia Foundation’s new report – UnderMining Agriculture: How the Extractives Industries Threaten our Food Systems exposes the hidden costs of mining on food, water, land, air and climate, showing how each is increasingly affected by toxins as the global land and water grab intensifies. The report is a timely call to action for all food justice and anti mining organisations to come together with a harder line against the extractives sector. The world’s food production and millions of small farmers and communities are under threat. Continue reading “UnderMining Agriculture: How the Extractives Industries Threaten our Food Systems”
The supposed al-Qaeda splinter group more dangerous than ISIS, Khorasan, has taken center stage in Obama’s effort to legitimize the U.S. bombing campaign in Syria.
As we reported September 18, Khorasan, which supposedly consists of a handful of terrorists, is public relations gimmick for an illegal and unconstitutional violation of Syria’s national sovereignty. Prior to its roll out in the lead-up to the Syrian bombing campaign, only the government knew about Khorasan. It was a secret. Continue reading “Khorasan: Toothpaste Bombers from Nowhere.”
WEB Notes: Russia did the same thing last year around this time. Here is your documentation and understand, both Russia and China are controlled by the globalists. Meaning there is no need for the globalists to have Russia and the United States go to war. That would completely alter their plan and there is no need for them to do that at this time.
