Shots were fired around 3 a.m. at the Ed’s Car Wash in Melcroft, about 55 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, WPXIreported.
Three men and two women were pronounced dead. It’s unclear if the shooter was among the five people killed. However, police said there is no threat to the public at this time.
“Victims have not been identified yet, we have no idea what has really taken place here this evening, this morning. So, it’s early on in the investigation. That’s pretty much all I can provide for you at this time,” Robert Broadwater of the Pennsylvania State Police told WTAE.
A motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
