Farriers are some of the most fiercely independent, hard working, self governing people on the planet.
Trying to get them to agree on just about anything is akin to herding cats.
To say the fruits of their labor comes from the sweat of their brow is an understatement because there also comes a lot of tears and some blood, inevitably, pushing themselves to master their trade.
You won’t find a group of people more blunt, honest, or caring, save maybe farmers and I count myself a blessed man to be numbered in their midst.
The farriers in this video are from across the globe, and the very best in the world at what they do.
To see them come together like this to send a message of love and peace is an incredible thing to me.
Often considered arrogant, curmudgeonly, crusty, and a crude lot, it is my hope, and I know theirs as well, that this will bring some hope, encouragement and respect for all of us at this very special time of year.
Thank you for allowing me to share it with you.
May it bless you as it has me.
Sincerely.

Impressive. We need more of that attitude. Unfortunarely too many wars are fought for profit, not just hate.
Nice…..farriers are in short supply here in NW Kansas. I wish I could find one but since no one is around here my Vet. says nature will run its course. Still would rather have a dependable farrier.
wow — I’m almost embarrassed to say that I don’t know what a Farrier was until I saw the video (and looked it up).
Look at the young girl in the video — her pupils are dilated in a well-lit area. I think I caught someone getting high on the job.
Hahaha…she’s probably high on life.
Being a farrier gives one a tremendous amount of freedom and satisfaction. Its a job you really have to love to be good at it. A very physically challenging occupation.
