A foothills man came face-to-face with a bear outside his home. He didn’t run. He didn’t call wildlife officials. Instead, he wound up and punched the bear in the face.

Don’t know why, but this guy reminds me of Diggerdan for some reason.
He kinda has the same face and eyes but digger’s hair was dark and grey.

The only ‘soft’ spot on a bear’s face is his nose. The problem with that is that it’s right above the teeth.
This guy’s an idiot for facing a bear with anything less than a gun.
