  1. As a pilot .. we are taught if you have an unstable approach , you have the option of calling a “Go Around” that’s exactly what should have taken place here ..rather than forcing the aircraft harshly on to the runway hard enough to break the right side main gear off and slam the wing into the runway and snow berm on the side of the runway ..(using the excuse of heavy cross winds is a bull shit excuse you had an unstable approach and thus fcked up not calling and executing a go around) this is totally on the Pilot , I’d like to know how much time in type he/she had and how many successful landings he’s done in his career , because that was complete bull shit he just stopped flying the plane the moment it struck the ground ..hope his days behind the yoke are over , my support for all those involved .. I have been though one small aircraft landing accident , I was not P.I.C. I was the passenger , and that was out of an unstable approach and forcing the aircraft to land which it did, breaking the nose gear off and sliding to a stop nose down.
