Preventing Israel affinity organizations from politicizing K-12 textbooks – Kathy Drinkard

Why is VCHR leading a campaign in Virginia to prevent Israel affinity organizations from rewriting K-12 textbooks? What kinds of changes have these groups submitted to the Department of Education and textbook publishers, and were they public knowledge? What accuracy and politicization issues do the changes present? What are the changes supposed to accomplish? What organizations backed the proposed changes? Is this a problem only in Virginia or nationally? What is VCHR doing to ensure a “balanced presentation of facts that represent reality”?

  1. This lady is clear and centered and thinking on her feet.

What they have done to textbooks is reprehensible!! Forever they are feeding falsity, but we are not longer so easily fooled.

    1. That would be the ideal. But in the mean time, there are still many parents who can’t, for whatever reason, home-school. And yes, there are those who just won’t. So children everywhere are subjected to these lies and manipulations. I hate the schools, too, but more than that I hate these liars, cheaters, deceivers. And just like with the monuments, THEY HAVE NO RIGHT to erase history to their liking.
