PSE presents the all new TAC Series. In response to many of your comments here on YouTube, we’ve updated the TAC 15 and decided to add 3 similar crossbows that should answer 90% of what you were asking for after seeing the old design. Also, we remade the video in HD. Enjoy!

  1. Hey All,waste of time and money,if you want to shoot arrows get a compound,I can fire 6 arrows in the time it takes to load this BRICK THROWER .Yes it starts out at 402 FPS but ten yards out it’s cut in half and falls off the cliff from there.A bowtec bow is the most amazing bow I have ever seen(cant afford a new one but am getting my friends used one this spring) they are fkn unbelievabley fast and accurate and deadly.I saw him shoot the whole front shoulder of a deer from 40 yds @ 65# of pull with 85% letoff(force it take’s to hold at full draw) you dont have to have no “special high dollar “bolts” any arrow of your chosing will work whether aluminum or carbon. These crossbows are just big expensive kiddie toys that weigh a ton and dont pack thru the woods well and are the modern version of a slow loading black powder weapon. They also come in womens version’s with a 45# draw and will still kill 40 yds.

PSE Recalling All 2013 PSE TAC Elite, 2013 PSE TAC Ordnance, and 2013 Enigma Crossbows Due to Out-of-Specification Release Mechanisms

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Tucson, AZ., November 8, 2013 – Precision Shooting Equipment, Inc. announced today that it will conduct a product recall on its 2013 TAC Elite, 2013 TAC Ordnance, and 2013 Enigma crossbows.

This recall includes all TAC Elite and Enigma crossbows shipped from June 27, 2013 to October 31, 2013, and
TAC Ordnance Crossbows shipped from September 10, 2013 to October 25, 2013. The recall is being initiated
because the release mechanisms on these crossbows have been found to be out-of-specification, potentially
leading to premature firing or accidental discharge as they reach full draw.

The following models are affected by this recall:
    PSE TAC Elite (Shipped: June 27, 2013 – Oct 31, 2013) SERIAL #: 2097056-2134901

    PSE Enigma Crossbow (Shipped: June 27, 2013 – Oct 31, 2013)

PSE is asking customers to immediately stop the use of their 2013 TAC Elite, TAC Ordnance or Enigma
crossbows, and to contact PSE for information regarding the return and repair of these items. For fastest service, PSE is advising customers to visit http://www.tacseries.com/crossbow-recall/ and fill out the Return Authorization Form found on that page.

If customers are having trouble with the form, they can contact PSE at 800-477-7789.

PSE values shooter safety above all else, and sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

  3. These are not new. I seen these in 2011-2012. I love my xbows but why would I take apart an ar-15 to shoot an arrow? Dumb idea to me. I guess its for those people who must show you their guns every time you go over to their house. It gives them a chubby.

    1. I bought my wife a Horton cross bow to help her transition to a rifle. It is slow to reload, etc., but it has helped her aim, breathing, etc. My thoughts were the same. Why take an AR out of commission to have this? It would be great for silent shooting, but I bet it aint cheap.
