  1. I recently unregistered and I was not asked to state a reason. Maybe I just should have said that it seemed to me that to remain “registered” actually defies reason. Anyhow, it’s none of their (you know what) business. Dang, they make me so mad!!

    .

  2. Reason: I do not vote anymore.

But will “unregistering” take you off the nonsense robocalling or telemarketing or election-calling list? In 2016, I got about two calls PER DAY from Trump/Clinton/Congress/Senate/whatever “surveyors” and they wouldn’t stop calling until I actually answered a survey. You can simply erase the call on cell phones. But on landlines? (We have no cell service in these mountains). it got to the point where I had to pull the cord out of the phone box! Then I had to put it back in when I made a call out. Ridiculous!

So, if unregistering means the surveyors can no longer call you, I am unregistering!

      1. Yeah, and it says, I won’t sanction this, won’t recognize it as a legitimate enterprise, want nothing more to do with its deception.

  3. Where does one un-register? It was sooo long ago that i was a different person, now i don’t remember.
