Right-Wing Group’s Rally Turns Violent in Sacramento

ABC News

A planned protest by the Traditionalist Worker Party at the California state capitol in Sacramento turned violent today after counter-protesters showed up, officials said.

It was unclear what triggered the violence at the rally by the group, which had received a permit to hold the event, police said.

The Sacramento Fire Department first reported taking five people to local hospitals after what it described as a “mass casualty incident,” but later said two more people had been transported, for a total of seven. At least two of the people injured had life-threatening wounds, the fire department said.

Marchers from the Traditionalist Worker Party were met by counter-protesters calling them “Nazis” and “fascists,” and the confrontation quickly escalated.

“There was a large number of people carrying sticks and rushing to either get into the melee or see what was going on,” Sacramento Fire Department spokesman Chris Harvey said.

California Highway Patrol officers managed to break up the fight but some members of both groups remained in the area an hour after the melee broke out, Harvey said.

In addition to the people who were stabbed, many others suffered minor injuries such as scrapes and bruises, police said.

The Traditionalist Worker Party says on its website that it “stands for Faith, Family, and Folk. Our party members share a common struggle to transfer power and resources from the corrupt and unaccountable federal government to community and regional leaders who stand for traditional values, strong families, and revived cultures.

“Localism and secessionism are central to our mission,” it says.

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, the TWP was formed in January 2015 as the political wing of the Traditionalist Youth Network, a group that tries to draw high school and college students into white nationalism.

  1. Anyone know anything about the groups involved?

From what’s written here, is sounds like TWP is on our side, but they could just as easily be a phoney front group, so it’s hard to know if this is good or bad at this point.

    1. I’ve never heard of them, but even if they’re a front group, they seem to be saying the right things publicly. At least this much sounds great to me:

*** The Traditionalist Worker Party says on its website that it “stands for Faith, Family, and Folk. Our party members share a common struggle to transfer power and resources from the corrupt and unaccountable federal government to community and regional leaders who stand for traditional values, strong families, and revived cultures.

“Localism and secessionism are central to our mission,” it says. ***

Once the federal government collapses, is somehow dismantled, or loses influence via repeated secession of territories, citizens will be able to freely associate themselves into smaller states of greater ideological — and, if desired, ethnic — homogeneity. Why should there be a “one-size-fits-all” government applying laws uniformly to this gigantic land mass populated by over 300 million people? Let each person vote with his feet and live in a community that reflects his values and desired lifestyle.

Regarding issues of race/ethnicity, I don’t hate, or even think less of, any individual just for being non-white. I do hate that whites aren’t “allowed” to form ANY ethnically homogeneous communities just like every other ethnic group. It’s very possible, and even sensible, to be opposed to multiculturalism without disliking people of other cultures and ethnic groups.

Why is diversity only the “strength” of traditionally white Western countries? Why isn’t diversity being pushed on the Chinese, the Japanese, the Indians, various black African countries, or (especially) the Israelis?

I realize that I’m mostly preaching to the choir on this site. But for anyone out there who doesn’t understand who has been pushing multiculturalism on the West and why, I recommend the writings of Prof. Kevin MacDonald. The following PDF is a good place to start:

      1. Thanks, BMF. I read their public statement, but I guess “Traditionalist Worker Party” sounded a bit communist to me, so I was wondering if anyone had any other knowledge of them.

I agree with you 100%, and that demographic model works well in both China and Russia, which are almost like conglomerates of a bunch of little countries with different dialects and cultures.

The “diversity” propaganda was pushed down Americans’ throats so anyone objecting to the invasion could be branded a racist.

  2. “The Traditionalist Workers Party had a scheduled protest at noon when a group of counter-protesters showed up to demonstrate against them.
More than 150 anti-fascists confronted about 25 white supremacists in front of the State Capitol, police said. The protesters threw pieces of concrete, rocks and smashed the glass at the Capitol.
A large fight broke out where people carrying sticks rushed into the area of the rally, according to Sacramento Fire Department spokesperson Chris Harvey.”

“The rally was organized by the TWP to “protest against globalization and in defense of the right to free expression” and was reportedly also attended by members of the Golden State Skinheads, Blood & Honor, National Socialist Movement and Ku Klux Klan.”

  3. Please realize that neither of these groups are “right wing”. These warring factions of leftist socialists, national socialists and international socialists, are doing exactly what they did in Germany in the 1920’s and 30’s. It has come to Amerika now. Trump the national socialist vs. Hillary the international socialist and neither will EVER roll back the central planks of the commie manifesto imposed upon Amerika because they are both leftist marxist socialists bums looking to impose their own version of tyranny upon us. So wake up and smell the tyranny! There is no political solution to America’s spiritual problem: restore the God of the Bible as the Lord of America and be healed. Or suffer the dire consequences of rejecting Him.

  4. First 7 people is not a mass casualty incident and second why are we needing “permits” to go to the capitols buildings we paid for that are there to serve us yet we need a permit from some snark pig. Ohh say can you seee.

  5. All they are showing is the Mexicans. Thats it! In spite of what KFBK radio is propagandizing including asking the opinion of their lord and master Mayor Darrel STEINBERG (Kosher Mafia Don) we see white folks being beat on by monkey poking MEXICANS!

The strange thing too is how fast the MEXICANS and BLACKS came out of the woodwork to attack those whites. This was a coordinated FLASH MOB TERROR ATTACK!!!

Amazingly well coordinated it very much appears. Why didn’t the SAC County Sheriff who was bragging up his Viper boxes for cell phone downloading just go an arrest this bunch?????? He probably is in on it?
