It sends the message to me that local officials are struggling with feelings of inadequacy.
Don’t worry about these stupid military surplus trucks. They’re there because they’re free, and they make sissies feel powerful. Let the school board (or whomever) acquire and maintain the things for you so you can take them when you need them. Who’s going to stop you? The principal? A dumb cop?
Look at these things as a gift that you haven’t opened yet.

plus these are very easy to drive off in, no keys unless they did a modification, you just have to know how they work
and even if they did change to an ignition it will be basic and simple , any mechanic or person that has worked around cars and trucks of the 60’s could easily hot wire them in about 2 minuets
off topic but of importance Oregon teen missing her car found in Mt. Shasta with a damaged windshield and her cell phone still in the car. I can’t stress this enough to parents, change the way you parent or this type of thing will continue to happen. trust your teen even if you don’t. if you have to drive your teen to the party, do it and pick them up. do what ever you have to in order to know where they’re at that way they don’t have to lie or sneak off as this teen did. there’s a war on our kids and only getting worse. human trafficking isn’t just a movie. its happening at an alarming rate and people in high places are facilitating it. I pray this girl isn’t being used in a snuff video but on the other hand the other possibility…
men are also disappearing and being murdered. my guess is they knew too much just as my sister did. my brother will be haunted for the rest of his life because he thought he heard her calling out his name. turns out she was.

I see people now leaving their kids to fend for themselves all day long and not knowing where they’re playing.
Folks, times used to be more innocent when we were growing up, but the world is a much more dangerous place now. Keep an eye on your kids and always know where they are, but don’t smother them. Build trust!!
