The cold open of “SNL” mocked Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton again with an interview of the two of them on CNN. Once again, Alec Baldwin impersonated Trump and Kate McKinnon parodied Clinton.
Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon Break Character to End the Election Vitriol on SNL
Most of the jokes were about the FBI looking into Clinton’s emails. Watch the video “Saturday Night Live” below.
While being interviewed, Trump said he wasn’t in bed with the FBI, but kissed an agnate. he also said he wasn’t in bed with Vladimir Putin and kissed him. He also kissed a KKK member.
In the weeks leading up to the election, “SNL” has opened all four of its shows lampooning Trump and Clinton. In the sketch comedy program’s season opener, “Saturday Night Live” poked fun at the first presidential debate, complete with Trump’s snifflng and constant interruptions and Clinton’s canned responses. The following week had the show mocking Trump apologizing for the leaked video of him and Billy Bush.
Next, “Saturday Night Live” mocked the second presidential debate and the questions asked by audience members in the Town Hall, including red sweater-wearing Ken Bone. And the last episode that aired two weeks ago again had “SNL” lampooning the third presidential debate. Much like the actual jabfest, which took place in Las Vegas, Baldwin’s Trump said, “We have some bad hombres here” and called Clinton a “nasty woman.”
Haven’t liked SNL since the first 4 or 5 seasons. The original cast was excellent.
Garrett Morris had a small part in the recent ‘Ant Man’ movie. Hadn’t seen him in anything for quite a while.
Haha! This one was actually somewhat funny.
I liked this one with the little bit of Jaws music:
