This is Charlie Daniels’ 1982 song “Still in Saigon.” The narrator tells of his combat tour in Vietnam during the war and of the issues and difficulties endured after his return. The video has on screen lyrics.
I would like to dedicate this song to my father, a Vietnam war vet, as well as all his peers from all of America’s wars who did their duty.
