Update: TROUTDALE, Ore. (KOIN 6) — A gunman and one Reynolds High School student are confirmed dead following a shooting inside the Troutdale school.

Law enforcement officials offered few other details concerning the shooting during a 10 a.m. media update, but offered condolences and praising students and staff for prompt, organized reactions.

Around 100 law enforcement officers, tactical teams and medical personnel are in the process of evacuating students and staff.

No one else is known to have been injured in the shooting.

One student told a parent the shooting began in the school’s gymnasium, though police have not been able to confirm specific details.

Another student interviewed at 10:30 a.m. suggested there was more than one shooter inside the school, though police have not confirmed any additional gunman.

The student did say he heard two shots and witnessed a shooter, who he said was male and was not covering his face. The student could not say who the shooter was, but said the second gunman was arrested after students were searched.

“He was sitting there like a normal kid,” the student said of the second possible gunman.

A senior law enforcement official confirmed the known shooter was likely armed with a rifle.

Police were first alerted to the shooting just after 8 a.m.

Parents are being asked to reunite with their children at the Wood Village Fred Meyer at NE 223rd and NE Glisan, not the Safeway location initially given.

A student still within the school tweeted just after 9 a.m. that while some students had been evacuated, “most” were still on lockdown.

The Reynolds School District — whose website is currently down — released a statement just after 9:30 a.m. saying Reynolds remains in lockdown, though law enforcement said shortly after they would be slowly busing students to the Fred Meyer parking lot.

The students will be systemically marked off a list and handed over to parents or guardians. The evacuation could take two hours.

About 2,800 students attend the school, one of the largest in the state. Wednesday was supposed to be the final day of the school year, and seniors are thought to have already been finished with classes.

Afternoon kindergarten is canceled at Sweetbriar and Woodland and Troutdale. All evening events at all Reynolds School District facilities except for the Reynolds Learning Academy graduation.

  1. Wow! 100 police and sheriff units on the scene just because someone reported shots being fired. Excessive much? With that many police, you’d think it was the Bundy Ranch all over again.

Man, the police are just completely the dumbest people in the country. Have they even watched the movie, “Die Hard With A Vengeance”? All someone has to do is cry wolf and another group in the meantime can rob City Hall.

The police are sure making it easy for a raid to happen. Just report an anonymous tip that gunshots were fired and then have your team raid some place else on the other side of town. It’s a no brainer.

When are they going to learn to NEVER put all your eggs in one basket. Who the hell trained these dumbasses?

    1. Yes, it’s a good thing no one was “jaywalking” at the same time or they would have had to split the force in half! 🙂

    2. shhhh NC.. dont tell them how were going to distract them when the revolution really starts..

or when we need to break into the police HQ to get the real truth about a story

  2. How odd… I thought school was done for the season. (I have no idea about that area, just know that school’s out everywhere that I know of)

And it seems like overkill on the numbers they’re spouting…

    1. Yea that’s true. I forgot about that. Unless they have summer school, school is supposed to be done right now. I have neighbors who have kids that have been out of school on summer vacation for a week now. Strange.

        1. Thank you Henry. It’s over here, except summer school, which I’m not real sure when that starts.
Also, I know that schools districts vary on start/end dates and always have to factor in ‘snow days’ or whatever. It ends quite early 800 miles south of here, go figure! 🙂

  3. The circus stops in Portland for a brief visit. I bet they will snarl up the traffic for hours! Ridiculous, yeah 100 cop cars emergency vehicles etc. all they needed was a meat wagon and a couple squad cars, but instead the huge BS procession!! Feds seem to be working real hard out west now. The timing of these false flag attacks events have been occuring during rush hour, at least the ones in Seattle & Portland did. Maximum publicity!

  4. The local news commentators here are like “This is becoming so common. A school shooting is happening every other day it seems”

How many sq miles is CONUS?
    Arnt we(USA) bigger than europe?
So imagine if Europeans considered every news article to happen in the entire continent to be “right outside the door”. FEAR PORN at its pinnacle.
Hell this story is over an hour away and I dont consider it ‘news pertinent to my existence’

    1. Oh yea, I can’t wait for his 13 year Manifesto to come out about how a girl didn’t like him and so he decided to kill the whole school. I just love fantasy stories, don’t you? I’m hoping to sell a million copies of it on E-Bay. How much do you think it would go for? 😉

  5. And….AGAIN the shooter shoots himself. In all probability, what are the chances that EVERY single shooter decides to kill himself during the shooting incident? IMPOSSIBLE!

Yet, no one in any of the comment sections of the Yahoo or the MSM have even brought that up or figured it out yet. Granted many are trolls, but some of them are obviously still real. How stupid can they be?

Once again, where is the camera footage, the dead bodies, the blood, etc. etc. etc. and if there was a police security guard at the school, was he sleeping or showing the female teachers a good time during study hall?

    1. “The Tuesday shooting was the first fatal school shooting in Oregon since May 1998 when 15-yeatr-old Kip Kinkel killed two students and wounded 25 others at Thurston High School in Springfield near Eugene. He killed his parents prior to the attack and is serving an 111-year prison sentence.”

      1. In Albany Oregon they are prosecuting a kid who was planning and amassing weapons to take out his school. All in the last 6months to a year.

  6. “The Reynolds School District — whose website is currently down — released a statement just after 9:30 a.m. saying Reynolds remains in lockdown…..A student still within the school tweeted just after 9 a.m. that while some students had been evacuated, “most” were still on lockdown.”

Ahh…..Once again, they gotta continue to misuse that word, “Lockdown” to enforce the fear and police state in the media. Unfrigginbelievable…….

  7. Are you shitting me? The students were marching out of the school with their hands on their heads? WTF? ???

    Unfrigginbelievable……..

      1. What the F**K is wrong with these teachers, students and people at this school? Do they enjoy being a slave and living like cowards? GROW SOME BALLS, PEOPLE!!!

Stop acting like you’re in a POW camp!

  8. It’s only a matter of time before this shit comes to every ‘neck of the woods’, or in this case ‘trenches’. They’re getting desperate, and they can’t pump out the B/S fast enough for the alternative media to pick it apart. I suppose it helps that their ‘participants’ are not ‘seasoned actors’ such as those in political power.

Fools, all of them… it’s a lot easier to deal with the truth, than to ‘regulate’ lies.

  9. My girlfirends 17 year old nephew lives with her…We have taught him to find an escape route and streets out of the indoctrination camp if something likes this happens and she can pick him up at a designated location…I know its somewhat dangerous, but its better than being locked down.

  10. Undoubtedly another one of those white supremacist Nazi skinhead killers.

Ray Charles could’ve seen this coming.
