GUSTINE, Texas — Here in Gustine, population 457, what happens at the schoolhouse affects nearly everyone. And something happened Monday that is causing a big controversy in this small town.
“I felt uncomfortable, and I didn’t want to do it,” said 11-year-old Eliza Medina. “I felt like they violated my privacy.”
She was one of about two dozen elementary students who were rounded up in the small town 90 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
Eliza’s mother, Maria Medina, said boys were taken to one room, girls to another, and they were ordered “To pull down their pants to check them to see if they could find anything.”
Eliza’s mom explained that educators “have been finding poop on the gym floor.” She can imagine the frustration, but said even for feces on the floor you don’t partially strip search a group of students to find the culprit.
“I was furious… I mean, I was furious,” Medina said. “If you can’t do your job or you don’t know what you’re doing, you need to be fired. You shouldn’t be here.”
Eliza said she tried to protest. “I said I didn’t want to, but I was told I had to because all the kids had to.”
Gustine Independent School District Superintendent Ken Baugh acknowledged that making kids drop their drawers goes too far. “That’s not appropriate, and we do not condone that. So you would take disciplinary action.”
But Baugh said early into the investigation, his understanding is that the children were told to lower their pants just a little.
Eliza Medina insists it was more than that.
“Like… to where your butt is,” is how she put it.
And her mother contends that even if it were just a little (which she doesn’t think it was), having kids line up and expose their underwear for inspection is simply unacceptable.
“Wrong is wrong,” Medina said.
The superintendent is hoping to have his investigation into this incident wrapped up by Wednesday, after he has heard from all parties involved.
He may yet get an earful on Thursday night, though. Some angry parents are already planning to show up at the school board meeting to demand that someone be held accountable.
“Maybe we can find a much better way to solve this,” Superintendent Baugh said.

To hell with that $hit, pardon the pun. If that were my child, I’d be looking into pressing charges. These school administrators think they’re above the law and need to answer for their illegal actions. I’m confident some laws were broken.
So some cretin kid has been pooping on the gym floor – good lord I must say that the USG dumb down American kids program is working splendidly – those cretin parents need to just keep sticking to the USG program – feed those kids plenty of GMO food, drink up that fluoride and get those high mercury laden vaccines and keep your kids plugged into that Joos Tell-a-vision…..their plan for nothing but dumbed down slaves is working perfectly…
As for the butt check – remember these aren’t little sovereign human beings we are talking about – these are full fledged little government slaves – and the parents are to have no say – in another few years the USG can shut down their farce of a school system and just send these children to the asylums where the USG can use them for science experiments…. so you parents just keep up those vaccines and tattoos…..nice job!
Dear Big Dan – as a Texan I can tell you not to believe the hype about Texas – there is a lot BIG TALK about Texas being independent but when you look closely at the day to day goings on you find that it is all hat and no cattle – while other states have nullified NDAA and have made efforts to stop the “tip toe of tyranny” Texas only talks about it, never actually does anything to protect individual rights and nullify the monster USG – Perry was 100% CIA and he was governor here for like forever…..the only thing I can say good about Texas opposing this criminal cartel in Washington DC is that they are not likely to ever confiscate guns from Texans – that would be war. I would dare that Nazi Zionist Bloomberg to come here and try and try to confiscate guns…..

We’re seeing school staff abuse kids all across the country in the same manner that police are abusing the adult population.
Give a moron a little power over another person, and it will always be abused. The only reason these things are happening is because Americans didn’t nip this in the bud when it began, by exercising and fighting for their rights. They’re doing this because we let them, and now that it’s gone this far, it’s not going to be easy to stop it, and in fact, the only thing that will be worse than stopping it is living with it, because it’s only going to get worse and worse until it is stopped.
A couple decades ago all we had to do was talk about it, but that’s not going to work anymore because we allowed it to go too far.
When I was in school, teachers and staff would have been afraid to do something like this, and they probably wouldn’t have made it home after work if they did.
Say what you want, but I’m guessing the pooper stopped pooping after that.
