Driven by curiosity, Will and Norm do something incredibly foolish while at SXSW: they buy a Bitcoin from an ATM kiosk. Watch them fumble through the transaction, try to buy real goods with that Bitcoin in Austin, and then attempt to cash out before flying back home.
that was intrusive and time consuming. Not to mention expensive. Should have bought a gun and shot that machine.
That little machine probably rakes in a lot of cash. I’m sure the “buy” price is a lot higher than the “sell” price, so the owner of the vending machine will make out like a bandit regardless of where the price of a Bitcoin goes.
It’s an electronic commodities trader.

With all our private information out there (stolen) hanging in the wind like chad, why in the world would anyone VOLUNTEER to give it up?
