TEMPLE, TEXAS — Reporter Matthew Short, Intellihub.com, has been going around Texas with a group of citizens who are exercising their legal and lawful constitutional right to “open carry” firearms. In fact, the group has been carrying around what the mainline press has classified as “assault weapons”, showing that they themselves are not slaves to this tyrannical regime.

During an interview with one of the open carry advocates, CJ Grisham stated, “Well I think it’s definitely been an overwhelming success… we have definitely made a difference. A right that we exercise is a right well will never lose”.

The group is part of OpenCarryTexas.org, a website aimed at our constitutional right to “bear arms”.

Taking the demonstrations one step further, the group challenged “company policy” by conducting an “open carry” at the local Home Depot store. Interestingly enough, a few of the shoppers were curious, heads turned as the men walked the store with rifles slug to their backs. Some even stopped to greet the men.

But that’s not it, the demonstration continued at the State Capitol building where the group attempted to enter the the government building with their rifles and a trusty 1851 Colt Navy black-powder pistol.

The group was turned away by Capitol Police who stated simply, “long guns outside”.

The group plans to hit up 30 towns and cities on a coming tour bringing awareness to the public about the right to “open carry”.

Intellihub.com reporter Matthew Short has assigned himself to the story. You will see it first at Intellihub.com.
