The Hope County Choir’s version of the Far Cry 5 OST is one of those listening experiences that just changes you. Once I sat down and listened to the full work properly, free from distractions, I was left stunned and speechless. Not just the songs themselves, but the performances, the production/recording and the subject matter all work together to create something transcendent. As I write this in early 2022, this collection has become almost unbearably relevant, certainly more so than when it was created. I hope Ubisoft releases this as a standalone vinyl LP someday. It really is that good. Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this to life.
The soundtrack for this videogame is beautiful & quite haunting in places! Definitely recommend a download if you can find it 😉
