We hear anywhere from 10 to 200 lies a day. And although we’ve spent much of our history coming up with ways to detect these lies by tracking physiological changes in their tellers, these methods have proved unreliable. Is there a more direct approach? Noah Zandan uses some famous examples of lying to illustrate how we might use communications science to analyze the lies themselves.

  1. I read a good book called “spy the lie” written by some people from the cia. I highly recommend it. It uses some great examples such as cheney lying about saying the f-word on capitol hill. They break down what he said when he lied and when he admitted it on meet the press. Check it out.

I lied. I listened to an audio book called “spy the lie” but the rest is absolutely and categorically correct. 😉
