America’s standing army in 1787 wasn’t exactly intimidating. By contrast, America’s standing army in 2015 is, and I’m sure Ted Cruz would agree, not to be messed with. An AR-15 doesn’t hold a candle to your local police force; starting beef with the full firepower of the American military with nothing more sophisticated than a semi-auto is like bringing a ham sandwich to a gun fight. If citizens really did rise up and revolt with the guns currently available, they would lose and lose badly.
Try it and watch what happens. The only thing is, don’t expect to be able to hide and watch and merely cheer on the forces of government repression as a spectator at the next American civil war, Mr. Green. 4GW civil war is a bitch, especially for those who advocate it and who lay the intellectual groundwork for government murder of the citizenry.

Our “All Powerful” military couldn’t defeat a bunch of cave dwelling goatf^ckers in Tora Bora. Just like in that part of the world, they will never win the “hearts and minds” of the people.
My “mother” fought in the Dutch Underground, was captured in 1943 and spent two years in the concentration camps, Buchenwald, a Labor Camp and one year in Nuremburg.
However, I asked my mother how they, the Dutch, Frence, etc, all fought back against the German to which she replied. Prior to WWII it was forbidden for most to carry or have weapons. What happened is that slowly and surely we began “acquiring weapons” from the Germans, it took awhile but the more we got the more the “acquistions” accelerated.
In the case of civil war or and revolution in America: First the government, military and police will have the upper hand, then is not the time to act. But slowly and surely, you will see the “resistance” increase, not only from the citizenry but from the very ranks of the military and police.
For those that care a few hopeful comments from Catholic mystics and visionaries who have seen visions of what is to come.
At first all will be subjected or affected in different ways, the government will come out with all it has and like a hammer on the people. But slowly, these mystics say, and then acceleration, the populace will turn on the government in massive numbers, in the end those that are oppressing the population, those who have and are acting against God, they will all be annihilated, in the end. However, at first it will seem useless to fight back, it will seem that the “enemy” will have the upper hand, but, only for awhile, say these mystics, just when they will think they have it all sowed up, then a major turn happens; how?, I don’t know what it will be, just that these mystics say that even thought the fight will be hard won, and I mean hard won, in the end, however God does it, all the enemies of God, His Church (including those “within and up to the highest ranks”) and our countries, will all be annihilated, not one, no matter how many holes, tunnels, underground sanctuaries they have, not one will escape in the end.
These mystics also absolutely sate that not at first, but as the civil war and revolution begin, immediately followed by WW3 there will evolve, or rather everyone will begin to realize that this is a war between God and Satan, and we know who will win this one. These mystics state in unison that those who espouse, support or believe in abortion, homosexuality, immodesty in dress, Satanism, pornography, contraception, who are anti-Christian and especially those who are anti-Catholic, will all be on one side or the side of “vice” while the other side “virtue” will in the end be totally victorious.
According to dozens of these mystics, visionaries, etc, God is going to let our enemies punish us severely, for the above sins, but mostly for the massive “apostasy” now happening in the Church and world, of the near total abandonment of over 2000 years of true doctrine and faith for the creation of a new god, a god made from our own passions, lusts, and desires. When all seems lost, when both the Church and world seem doomed, then they say something very apocalyptic is going to happen and the tide will suddenly turn and all these enemies of God, His Church and our country will be totally annihilated.
No matter your preparation, how many, your training, Navy Seal, Marine, Special Forces, whatever your expertise, planning and available resources, if you espouse, support or believe in any of the above vices, you will in the end – die.
A short story to add:
In 1215 the heretical sect of Albegensians were ravaging France, they sought out every Catholic they could find in every village, town or farm, killing them and all their families. The Catholics managed to muster a small force of 1000 men, 200 on horse and 800 Infantry (In those days infantry was just cannon fodder, useless nearly against mounted knights), they had little to no battle experience or training. On the other side, the Albegensians were 100,000 strong and all on horse, yes all battle hardened, trained and experienced and all mounted, a massive formidable army.
1000 ill trained and inexperienced vs 100,000 well trained and experienced warriors. The Catholics knelt down, prayed the Rosary and attacked. When the battle was over, the Catholics suffered 2 dead (KIA) and 8 wounded (WIA), the Albegenisans were totally annihilated.
I could give you many other battles or the Crusaders who were outnumbered as many as 500 or more to (1), no exaggeration, where the Catholic Crusaders would ride out, maybe 50 of them or so against as many as several thousand, and at the end of the day, maybe one or two dead, one or two wounded and literally having killed one to several thousand enemy.
Both these story’s and many more have been kept from the history books but are factual and true.
One last one on a small scale: Suggest all look up and read: “St. Michael and the Marine”, a true story of a US Marine in Korea in 1950, which was then after read to over 5000 Marines and later more and also Army soldiers before they embarked to Korea.
This war and battle coming is one that whose very basis is evil against good, virtue against vice, and this time, according to these many visionaries, God at first does nothing and when His Justice has been appeased, when we have payed the price God demands for his justice according to our sins, then He intervenes when all seems lost.
Think of “Lord of the Rings” – Tolkien was a devout Catholic, friends with Chesterton and Hillarie Belloc. He was very knowledgeable of Catholic history and prophecy, he knew, he had an understanding of what was to come in the future, as told and warned by many Catholic mystics, stigmatic’s, saints, etc throughout the centuries, and his story, The Lord of the Rings, is a rendition of what was to come and the ultimate end.
Obama, Putin and all the rest, are “all” part of “Mordor” and in the end it will be the faithful, humble, and prayerful that will be victorious. Take it too the bank.

The Catholic church as most churches are so full of it because they don’t read the scriptures.
Heck, they pray to Mary the Mother of God, and preach that Christ the “Man” is God.
So messed up due to not allowing the scriptures to speak, and so stuck in tradition that they cannot see the truth.
God is love and never requires people to suffer to pay for sin. Christ paid the price.
