Time To Start Buying More Ammo – Food Stores – Medical Supply – Think About Water

Times are obviously precarious right now, no doubt about it, at times like this we need to start getting our act together, obviously our people are aware of this, but must be repeated. This site was built by people who are some of the most aware out there, we need to keep reminding ourselves of this.

Even if you don’t own a weapon, doesn’t make a beans worth of difference, we should all be well stocked with .223 ball ammo, several cases of it. Be aware of your water supply and water testing kits, medical stores and food stores. If nothing else, have enough food and water on hand, you decide for how long.

We have at least four enemy columns moving up from South America, whatever the motive, it can’t be good.

We need to keep in touch with each other, by email, phone or whatever, share our ideas, go to your local truck stop and at least buy a Rand McNally United States Atlas, it will give you one hell of a lot good back road and interstate information, about forty bucks, worth every penny.

Really need to be cognizant of what’s the hells going on right now. Our military is useless; don’t count on them for a damn thing.

  1. I would also suggest .22 ammo. One day I suspect instead of dollar bills people might prefer them.I suggest round nose and not hollow point. Semi autos do not like hollow point.

  2. Jim makes a good point above, also having the .223 ball ammo is always important, as it is the most common type of ammunition, there are so many AR rifles out there so having on hand will at least enable you to SHARE with people who own a AR, or other weapons that use it, this way your helping the cause in a positive way. Additionally, the .223 ammo is always worth money making it a great barter item.

Even if you don’t own a weapon, having plenty of it makes good sense.

Soon, they are going to make it difficult to buy ammo. You can never have enough.

          1. a holdover from when ammo was really a ball.

In the military manuals you will see ball, tracer, incendiary etc.

So, the definition of ball ammo is “standard military ammo” with the others being specialty. The origin being when round balls were the standard amm

    1. By the way, Henry’s comment and question was never brought up again after Henry hung up on his end. Just letting people know so they don’t waste their time listening to the end expecting his question to be addressed.

      1. I think mark answered by stating joe was tired…lol….not something I would ever think of expressing ….no matter how tired I was

        1. One would have to be VERY tired to dump the Bill of Rights in the name of the Trump Coalition!

Henry, the “trouble maker” comment was ridiculous! I suppose when you’re dodging the BofR’s and common law anyone in favor of these would certainly constitute as being a “trouble maker.”

          1. KATIE your awesome, I would not want to be the poor slob in the way of your right hook, or Mary’s or Galens for that matter, your good people Katie, God bless you girl.

Laura, Henry’s wife is another one, strong, loyal, stands by Henry like you would never believe, the least we could do is follow her lead, so happy to be apart of this awesome site.

      1. It’s being addressed, believe me. I’m getting really tired of Henry being treated like shit, like he doesn’t matter, its makes us all look bad, the Trenches matters, Joes damn words matter, he needs to watch his yap.

  3. Ps it’s also nice to dry meats like deer an pork out and vacuum seal it . It’s great for stews chillies veg soup , we add no favor to are dry meats are can meats. One more thing we use firewood , we just put up over 20 ricks nothing like being warm when the lights go out

    1. Excellent HD,

This is the kind of thing that makes our site so worthwhile. A lot of us are stupid city boys and girls, people like you show us the way, I’m as green horn as it gets, thanks.

  4. LOL, Mary. Love it!! I raise my glass to any “trouble-maker” who is making trouble for any who would not uphold our inalienable rights.

And thanks for link, Katie. Wow! Can only say MK’s response was so classic, a grand tactic used when you just can’t or won’t answer an honest question. And it wreaked of immaturity: I have no answer so I’ll just yell and reprimand. And yell he did. It was a superb display of avoidance with a mega dose of invalidation, as if the question was absurd, when it fact it was a question of questions, important and urgent.

MK goes on criticizing the “stirring” of the pot, as if that’s a bad thing. Is being on one big team better than speaking the truth and defending The Bill of Rights? I mean should we just sit back and take it, go along with the lie and become slaves? He was practically begging us to “stop fighting amongst” ourselves. Sounds like he’s asking us to comply. I wasn’t sure whom he was referring to when he said “We’re gonna have to shoot their ass.” This is like the Federalists/Anti-Federalists goin’ at it. Truly.

MK fully revealed himself as unwilling to listen to an opposing point of view. Henry’s question to him should be posted in as many places as possible in big, bold letters, and stay posted until it is answered. Trouble-makers do not stand idly by when someone spits on The Bill of Rights.

      1. Henry is really lucky to have you around Galen, I know he respects your opinions, as do I, really great stuff, I wish I had all that inside me, this stuff isn’t easy. I’m a coward in many respects, your not, your good people, strong. You remind me of my mom, she was my everything, my hero.God how I miss her.

        1. I learned (and am learning from) the best: Henry, Laura, and most of The Trenchers. And that includes you, Mark. Often you have built a house of bricks.

Yeah, we are blessed with Henry, and may he bring out courage in all of us.

And thank you for believing in me. But I must own that sometimes I am mighty scared. A good thing I grew up with an older brother who frequently scared the you-know-what out of me. I think on some level he was preparing me for the fight we are currently in. Thank God for older brothers.

Now I’m off to be with Mother Nature. If I do not get outside I am gonna choke. Trees await.

          🙂

  5. Mark it’s going to all us to get out of the hole are leader have put us all in . One more thing look for 5 gallon bucket at Home Depot store get the buckets with a rubber seal on the lids they seal great and keeps bugs an stuff out of your dry foods like flour an sugar , we get they buckets for little under five bucks , believe that cheap . We also have a water tank that hold about 20 thousand gallon of water . Mark I’m still learning every day the Amish I’m around know have to live without all the stuff we have in n our lives . If you know any ask they love to teach people things .

  6. I have also been buying solar panels when we have ex funds , almost have what we need in panels an stuff but the big hit coming when have to get the battery we will need , also found a Amish man that I buy the panels from just can’t beat his price I have try too. One more thing I know everyone can’t have the Solar system I’m working on . Look at a place called harbor freight that have a whole system under 2 hundred bucks you will still need a battery . At all auto parts places have to sale there battery off after a year on shelve , just got two deep marine battery for half the price.

  7. There a fight coming I hope we all know this by now , mark I know you drive a big rig that a lot of stuff you can add to get you home are place of safety if needed . It would be nice if we could keep treads like this live an up front for others to add to like I said still learning from others what it may take to stay alive if the lights go out

    1. Yes, I have plenty of that on hand HD, in fact I’ve already had to use it for a bad infection I had on one of my fingers, worked great.

  8. One more thing never ever tell people around you that your prepping, if something was to happen then you will be biting off more trouble . The things your doing is for your family . Make a plan with your kids to get them home if they can . If you have small kids remember they like sweet stuff add sugar to the five gallon buckets with sugar an flour an some coca mix you can make some sweet treats . Learn to trade

I’ve added hoes an other tools for all my family hands on the cheap . Also look for seeds most places are closing them out right now . Use a glass jar to store your packed seeds in we put ares in the freezer in seal bags . I hope some of the things I have posted helps . Trencher have a plan to get your love one home that’s the one thing I lose sleep over can I get all of the kids an baby’s home

  11. skills are the #1 thing you can have. after that, it’s a crap shoot. was ready for the the sthf over ten years ago. now my stored food and ammo are over ten years old so i’ve had to start shooting some of it. i’m not doing as well as i was 10 years ago(never recovered) so replacing is going to be slow. also shows that the can is continually being kicked a little further down the road.

wondering whether the shtf has been more like a slow motion ooze……

  12. There many places to store stuff if your short on room one would be under beds . Just look around there places all over your house to be used . What about dry milk it’s still cheap
