I have been listening to the daily farm reports here. It is bad. If this area gets another winter like last (110 inches of snow) followed by a very wet Spring it will get even worse. NOTHING should be leaving this country when there are no surpluses. This is a heads up for people to grow their own.
I finally got some seeds out yesterday; great feeling. In the video below he mentions that the us imported, I think it was corn, which we are top producers of. Not good!

In Michigan I heard that over 880,000 acres were not planted this year due to a wet spring, and that now even some of what did get planted they cant get out of the fields , because again..too wet a year

And not just growing your own (which we’ve been doing since the 80s!). Buy food prepper food, canned, boxed whatever from a reputable company. Grow indoors (we’re going to pull up some plants that were grown late and got varmint damaged, plus almost no rain until September…Grand Solar Minimum and all that….). Learn to trap, shoot, whatever, varmints like squirrels and gophers–and 600 pound wild hogs–prep and eat them. And learn bushcraft (type in bushcraft on YouTube…they have some great ones there).
