Trump advisor position on climate engineering

Sent to us by Joe from the Carolinas.

I got this directly from the source, this is from an inside email within a professional organization geared toward human population and the environment.

Merry Christmas!

Rex Tillerson and other Trump advisors have advocated climate engineering as a way to adapt to climate change.  A report by the Government Accountability Office (Technology Assessment: Climate Engineering: Technical Status, Future Status and Potential Responses http://www.gao.gov/products/GAO-11-71) documents a number of scientific, technological, economic, and policy gaps that must be resolved before climate engineering is feasible.  I was part of the team at GAO that performed the research.  The report is now 5 years old but I believe many of these gaps remain.  There is considerable risk in rushing to implement climate engineering.  GAO is a credible source in Congress.  The take away message of the report is: “Climate engineering technologies do not now offer a viable response to global climate change.”

  1. Crazy people! Take your engineering and stuff it. We don’t want nor need any of you. All you do is F up a fine place God created. You will pay.

  2. “… a number of scientific, technological, economic, and policy gaps that must be resolved before climate engineering is feasible.”

‘Feasible’ or not, it’s totally unnecessary.

“There is considerable risk in rushing to implement climate engineering.”

    Rushing to implement???

Ever bother to look at the sky these days, rocket surgeon?
