White House Petition Response: Where We Agree and Where We Don’t

Back in 2012 when Senator Dianne Feinstein introduced legislation severely infringing on the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms, at least 3 petitions on dealing with Feinstein’s treason were initiated by The People in response on the petition.whitehouse.gov site. I signed two of the petitions, and below is the belated White House response, which excuses her treason as “championing legislation.” As I recall, the 3rd petition was quite funny, to ban Dianne Feinstein herself, but I can’t find it now, having been scrubbed from the whitehouse.gov site and from the internet, even the Wayback Machine Internet Archive.

Where We Agree and Where We Don’t

We don’t believe that Senator Dianne Feinstein should be punished for championing legislation. In fact, we’re going to continue to work with her and other likeminded Members of Congress to put in place commonsense reforms to reduce gun violence.

But we’re willing to have a reasonable debate about the steps we should take to make the country safer for our kids.

And it actually seems like we’re starting from a place of common agreement: Like many of you, President Obama believes that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual right to bear arms (he says so right here).

That’s never been in question with this discussion. What we’ve proposed are steps within the framework of that constitutional right to protect our communities from shootings and violence. If you want to see the specifics of our plan, you should visit WhiteHouse.gov/NowIsTheTime.

Now generally, it’s up to our courts to resolve matters of constitutionality. But no less an authority than Justice Antonin Scalia has written, “Like most rights, the Second Amendment right is not unlimited. It is not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose” — so we’re pretty confident that we’re on solid ground when we say we support Senator Feinstein’s legislation to that effect.

We also believe that there’s room for a civil discourse on matters of public policy — where we don’t try to silence our political opponents just because we disagree with them. In America, all of us, even those with whom you disagree, have the right to help to set our nation’s course.

Which is exactly why we created the We the People platform. Even if you disagree with everything you just read, we want you to walk away from this process with knowledge that we’re doing our best to listen — even to our harshest critics.

WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:

Try Senator Dianne Feinstein in a Federal Court For Treason To The Constitution

The Constitution was written to restrain the government. No amendment is more important for this purpose than the 2nd amendment. The 2nd amendment was written so the power could be kept with the citizenry in the face of a tyrannical government. It was well understood the Constitution acknowledged certain rights that could not be limited by government.

Senator Dianne Feinstein has made it clear she does not believe in the Constitution or the inalienable rights of Americans to keep and bear arms. She is actively working to destroy the 2nd amendment with her 2013 assault weapons ban. For this reason we the people of the united States petition for her to be tried in Federal Court for treason to the Constitution.

WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:

Impeach Sen. Diane Feinstein for violating her oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, re: AWB

Sen. Diane Feinstein has announced that she will be introducing new gun legislation in Jan 2013. The proposals of this legislation are in direct contradiction to both the spirit and letter of the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights. Her blatant disregard for the rights of citizens, and willingness to make criminals of a large number of law abiding gun owners, needs to be addressed. The summary of the new proposals can be seen at:

  1. It seems pretty clear that what is said is that attacks on the 2nd. amendment will not be misconstrued as treason, but rather a solution to gun violence. It makes sense that when disarmament is the goal, we will not have our say. How do you make someone realize that the 2nd. amendment was written to keep Government in check when the same Government is bent on taking us down the road to Socialism or a Communist state?. We’re back to square one.

  2. Now the flub dubs have increased the required signatures to 100,000
where it once was 25,000. Guess they got tired of responses. No
matter what, one just can’t get rid of the foreigners pretending to be
    Americans.

  3. Translation: “We the Govt. will do whatever the hell we feel like doing and you little peons can either like it or lump it.”
We the People haven’t had a Constitution since 1803 when the supreme court decided that they, and only they, can say what the Constitution means. Which means you have an arm of the federal govt. telling everyone else what the rules are. Which means the contract has been thrown out the window a long time ago. Since they breached the contract then We the People need no longer abide by said contract. Even though for some silly insane reason we keep trying to.

  4. Feinstein is what causes so many people to hate Jews. They have their Commie club which includes the media, banks, the FED, the Secretary Treasury, mayor of Chicago and lots in congress. Most are dual citizens with the terrorist state of Israel. If there truly are any homicidal maniacs out there, why murder innocent people when you can eliminate some of Satan’s Chosen People? Heck it might get you a free pass in to heaven.

Disclaimer: I’m not condoning violence, just presenting some logic….

  5. Don’t you just love how they constantly use the buzz words:

    “commonsense reforms” and “reasonable debate”.

As if they know what these words mean. These words only mean what THEY want it to mean, NOT We the people know it means.

Define “common sense” and “reasonable debate”.

It is so subjective that they don’t even know that the 2nd Amendment is clearly objective and is what it is.

NO DEBATE! NO TALK! NO NOTHING!! It’s not up for debate. It’s not up for common sense discussions. It SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!!!

There is no “subjectiveness”. It’s objectively stated. Take it or leave it. Deal with it or get the F**K out of my country, you treasonous bastards!

  6. That wrinkly old hag is uglier than a pound of smashed a$$ holes..and her intentions are twice as rotten!!
