The only real difference is that now your tax dollars get to pay for the propaganda, because they’re amending an old law to allow the government to lie to the American people too. (the old law prohibited them from creating propaganda for American audiences)
People are either going to be led around by the nose by the propaganda machine, or they’re going to start thinking for themselves, regardless of who pays for it. Unfortunately, I don’t think they’re going to start thinking for themselves (or suffer ANY inconvenience) until they have to, so let the starvation begin. Only pain and suffering will pry their heads out of their asses. The majority doesn’t want anything to do with facts, or proof.
The TV has provided them with a new religion of benevolent government dependence, and they’re going to cling to it like ay other religion until circumstances pry them away from it.
I hate to say it but unfortunately you are likely correct, JR. But I put as much blame on the CONFORMIST mentality of the American people as I do on the criminal psychopathic elites. (Maybe that’s because I’ve nearly always been a non-conformist AND PROUD OF IT! And I married a guy who has lived his life by the saying, “If you see other people doing something, do the opposite!”)
Starving may wake folks up, but I have a sneaking suspicion that by that time they’ll be too damned weak and hopeless to rally whatever forces they have left. Then most will willingly go into FEMA camps just to survive…since they have lived their lives mentally enslaved, physical enslavement won’t really matter much to them.
Remember when the Iraq invasion began, they had playing cards that depicted the propaganda from the Iraqi government. Hell we had them here in the convince stores for sale!
