The majority of viewers wanted to see if this very old, Depression Era, box of 22s would still function. We put it to the test and were surprised they still worked, and worked VERY well. The quality and reliability actually seemed to surpass some rounds made today by the SAME company. As they say, they don’t make things like they used to. It was interesting how they used red brass instead of yellow brass as they do today. This was filmed at a proper gun range using redundant safety precautions.
“Will these 90 YEAR OLD 22 rounds STILL FUNCTION?” PROBABLY IN A BOLT ACTION. BUT IN A .22 REMINGTON AUTOLOADER… NOT SO MUCH. (notoriously strong bolt spring)
