Country legend Willie Nelson is back on tour, much to the delight of millions of his fans. But we just learned Nelson paused a performance in Texas.
Apparently, Nelson – who is 83 years old – became disoriented during his performance at Nelson’s New Braunfels. Nelson left the stage after playing through his first song, “Whiskey River,” with an out-of-tune guitar.
This is tragic:
His backing band continued to play for nearly 20 minutes before he reemerged to finish the set. During the show, he performed his hits “Good Hearted Woman” and “Whiskey River” twice.
It’s unclear what caused Nelson to leave the stage, and if he actually was disoriented. So far, Nelson has not officially commented on the reports. It’s important to note that Willie hit the stage in Lubbock the following day seemingly without issues.
Nelson’s health has been deteriorating recently.
Naturally, many Willie fans have been on edge after he canceled multiple shows over health issues in recent months.
Nelson still has five more shows scheduled to promote his new album, God’s Problem Child. His 84th birthday is this week, April 29th.
Let’s pray for Willie Nelson! We want him to feel better soon.

give the man a dam break, hes freaking 83
how many of us are pushing it like him at even 50 or 60? None of us!
as a much younger man I played Lead Guitar in a band that played out and did bar gigs .. the heat on stage and the long nights will even get to you in your mid 20’s or 30’s
hes probably dehydrated , and needs more weed
he needs to chill and enjoy his retirement before he kicks the bucket
