ABC Fox Montana – by Jackie Coffin, April 4, 2014

VICTOR – A $5,000 reward is offered for any information in the theft of several hundred pounds of high explosives from an explosives bunker near Victor.

Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and Ravalli Co. Sheriff Chris Hoffman are offering the reward.

They say 285 lbs. of ammonium nitrate fuel oil, explosive boosters and dynamite were stolen from an explosives storage facility operated by Ajax Contracting, located west of Victor.

The bunker was broken into and the explosives were stolen sometime between March 15 and April 1.

ATF agents say recovering the explosives is the top priority for the Montana division right now.

Anyone with information can call the ATF hotline at 1-888-ATF-BOMB or locally in Missoula, (406)721-2611.

  1. “Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and Ravalli Co. Sheriff Chris Hoffman are offering the reward.”

Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives stole the explosives, so you can send over that reward money immediately.
