There were 474,000 new jobless claims this week. When the weekly number dropped to 375,000, they dropped the unemployment rate. I guess now that it jumped to 474,000 they will kick it back up to 10.5%. I heard one commentator saying that he thought the Oregon extension could have been the reason for the massive increase. Wrong. In Oregon we filed on our old claims and the 22,000 that filed for the extension were not counted as filing new jobless claims.
There is no more sugar coating this mess and they know it. That why they had to throw out a nine year old frozen corpse to resurrect 9/11 from the dead. Things are bad in every quarter and our so called representatives are making a conscious effort to not talk about it.
You see it doesn’t matter how many terrorists we kill, the bottom just dropped out of the housing market again, gas is $4.00 per gallon, food prices are up 20 – 30%, and energy costs are up 20 – 30%. The value of the dollar is dropping at an alarming rate day by day. The interest we are paying on the national debt to the Federal Reserve is akin to being in the clutches of a loan shark, wherein you never pay off your debt; you just become a slave to the loan shark.
The neo-cons have eased back from Social Security and Medicare and decided to instead go after the poor people’s food money to make up some of the 26 trillion stolen dollars. When they came after the Social Security the American citizens; cowboy, hippy, rebel, yank, poor and middle class; spoke out with one voice and said, “No you are not going to take the retirements from our old people.” Now we must all come together as one and tell them that we are not going to allow them to starve the poor into slavery. Why? Because we know we are next.
The American citizens are not going to suffer the punishment for the corporate banking elite’s crimes. We want our $26 trillion back and the criminals that stole it punished. With our $26 trillion back we will rebuild our country and reinstitute our Constitutional Republic.
People we cannot allow them to divide us in any way. We are like a bundle of sticks. One stick by itself can be broken easily, but a bundle of sticks has the power of all. It is us or them. It has come down to it. The only way they are going to stop is for us to stop them.

I’m in California and I am a 99ers…Guess what I got a job at 30‰ my normal rate and only part time.. I won an appeal with the unemployment here in January 2010 and they never paid me. I became homeless lost my drivers licence and fall deeper into the hole daily.. This is a master plan being played out.. Bush and his buds are playing monopoly and buying all the forclosed american dreams right from the banks. It makes me sick..I have never been on unemplyment before being laid off..I went to school found employment and did everything right.. That got me cut off and ripped of by the State of California.. There has to be something wrong with a system that punishes you for not sitting on your ass.. I would hop on that bus and terrorize Washington in a hot second.

You have got to help me out here. I guess my math skills have deminished since
I turned 65. The gov’t reports 244,000 jobs created in April, but they fail to count
the 450,000 filing for new claims every week. One months job creation employs
only half of the people filing new claims each and every week. And this causes the
media and whitehouse to dance in the streets! WTF am I missing here? This is a
deplorable set of numbers but they are happy. It’s all BULLSHIT and the media eats
it up.
I don’t get it either, they most think we are very stupid, these are bad numbers for the working class-do any of them see the destruction going on, how can this man put the vhappy face on with a big smile as we continue do go down to food stamps and shelters? I am amazed by this! No one wants to touch the issue as an American. The media is bought and paid for of the plight of all the workers caught up in the social realignment, so disappointed in our leadership, usually there was someone to speak to these injustices but not today, I’ve never witnessed this before in my 62yrs.
