Well, Obama has announced his candidacy for reelection in 2012. It is reported that he will be the first candidate to raise one billion dollars for a presidential campaign. I was so disheartened when I heard these reports as they seemed to be saying this election is as good as bought and paid for. And then I heard another announcement.
Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura announced on the Alex Jones broadcast yesterday that he had contacted Dr. Ron Paul, Republican Senator from the state of Texas, and informed him that if Paul would run as an Independent for president in 2012 that he, Ventura, would consider being his running mate. I was overcome with a feeling that I have not known in many years. It was hope.
Jesse Ventura is an uncompromising defender of our Constitution and Ron Paul is already engaged in bringing down the Federal Reserve. This is the chance we 99ers have been waiting for and we must embrace it.
I had hoped that Dr. Paul would run for president as an Independent but I know that if he took on the international corporate mafia by himself he might very well be assassinated. But with Jesse Ventura as vice-president our enemies would be hard put to kill Ron Paul and let Jesse take the helm. Remember, he would then be the commander-in-chief and hell bent on taking vengeance on those who would kill his friend and our president. And if they killed both of them the American people would be unstoppable in their vengeance.
If Dr. Paul concedes to the run with Ventura as his running mate, I will support that ticket with everything I have left, including my life, if necessary. If Paul and Ventura do launch a campaign we will see the corporate propaganda machine on steroids. They will tell us in every venue that our candidates cannot win.
When our founding fathers took up arms against the King of England they were laughed at. They were told that Britain had the mightiest army in the world and could not be beaten, especially by a bunch of rag tag Americans. And we all know how that one turned out.
The American people are united in their realization that this diabolical tyranny we are suffering under must be destroyed at any cost.
All we have to do to make our dream of the reinstitution of our Republic under our Constitution a reality is to refuse to listen to lies, which is what that one billion dollars of Barack Obama’s will be buying.
99ers you are becoming some of the best educated voices speaking out in our country for our country. If Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura can put this together we must come together with those left in the middle class and turn this flame into a wildfire that will spread across our nation and cleanse it of the evil rot that has been predominant for far too long.

Dr. Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura better have a hell of a campaign and they better start now if they are going to overshadow the mainstream contenders. As it stands now, Dr. Ron Paul is a Republican Senator from the state of Texas?!! He stinks as far as I’m concerned. How does he purpose to “bring down the Federal Reserve”? Sounds improbable. Last week the chairman of the CBC, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver meet with President Obama, and Rob Nabors, Director of Legistative affairs in regards to HR 589. When Nabor’s told Obama that HR 589 would cost between $14 and $20 billion, they decided to change the subject. This of course, would have added 14 more weeks of benefits (in some cases retroactively) The CBC is planning another discussion this Thursday to try to find a way to offset the cost somewhere in the budget. They clearly are not give up, and I believe them to be sincere. We are clearly not a priority, wars are. It’s a damn shame what America has come to.

Its commendable our conversation moves towards elections and doing what is just, but how in the ..ck do you really believe we will make it another year and a half with no money, and allowing the freaks in Washington (and all over) to make the decisions they are making without our consent? I never said to stop any current actions like the Easter Project. What I did say was Obama has just stepped up with a billion dollars to further the fraud and our misery. The very prospect of Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura winning the election in 2012 could result in some short term bribery for we the 99ers in the form of HR 589. CBC chairman Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.) said after the March 30 meeting that his staff had found “the cost of that program would be between $14 and 20 billion dollars, which is cost-prohibitive,” according to Crew of 42, a blog about the CBC. “So there was no point in the President saying, ‘Yeah, I support it.'”
Cleaver said during the meeting the bill is a priority among CBC members. According to Cleaver, Obama then asked Rob Nabors, the White House’s director of legislative affairs, about the cost of the additional benefits. When Nabors told the president the cost would be between $14 billion and $20 billion, Cleaver suggested they move on to another topic.
If CBC Chairman Cleaver stated in his meeting with Obama that the cost for HR 589 would be “cost prohibitive” and there was no further point in discussing it; then he intentionally sabotaged any subsequent negotiations that may have taken place between Lee, Scott, Boehner and Cantor during their scheduled meeting on Thursday. If this is how he truly felt why did he co-sponsor the Bill??? If this statement is true then he’s a sellout. If not, the Crew of 42 need to seriously think about employing competent reporters. Unfortunately the reporters they have now seem like high school dropouts or potheads who are doing a little free lance work during down time. I say this because many of the stories on that site leave me yearning for a clearer understanding of whats being said and how its being reported. Not to mention the number of typos I have to endure while reading them. Bottom line…this doesn’t make sense. Hope this is not another setup for a let down by our cape crusaders.
I agree that another year and a half is a long time to hold on. Because some of us are barely doing so at the present time. Again, if either party felt that our votes carried any weight for 2012 they would be courting us in a different manner than the way they are doing now. I feel that there is already another segment (s) of the population that will be used to fill our void when the election time rolls around. Those in the House of Reps and Senate who have no real status or power to affectively make real change in this country may need our votes to secure their future positions so they can continue to live the life styles they have become accustomed to. But the ones who are the shakers and movers in either party could care less. As long as they continue to appease and push the agenda of the power elite that they represent then their fate and positions will be safe in 2012.
Why not ask Ron Paul and/or Jesse Ventura their thoughts on the current state of the long term unemployed and 99ers? Just to get a sense early on as to their stance on the issue and how they would effectively address it in the here and now and the future if elected in 2012. Since this issue isn’t going away any time soon and needs immediate attention. And, since both are high profile thinking out side the box politicians maybe one or both could be our voice.

This whole thing started back when Abraham Lincoln first suspended Habeas Corpus, which has never been reinstated. This most recent catastrophe began when Bill Clinton signed NAFTA, continued through George W. Bush who used his genius in corporate embezzlement to transfer trillions to his overseas partners, after which Obama picked up the ball and is at present driving towards the hoop for the slam dunk.

Henry, this is great news. I never thought we would have a chance to recover our freedoms without war. Although I am not sure that our elections are legit, the prospect of a presidential candidate, who truly represents the people is very uplifting. I guarantee that the Paul, Ventura ticket has my vote (whether it is counted or not).
It is incredible to me that anyone would want Hilary for president. You think Obama is crazy, you aint seen nothing yet! Talk about someone who would be running off bombing people without a clue of what’s going on. I remember after 9/11 Bush making a statement directed at Hilary saying they were trying to get him to take action immediately. He said something to the effect that he wasn’t going to shoot a missile through an empty tent. However messed up he was and HE WAS, he was right about that. She would be going out there half cocked.
We all need to hold on to hope even if it’s just a thread. Some of these discussions don’t have remnants of hope. If you think it’s impossible, guess what it is! The Berlin Wall came down and boy did that seem impossible, I will never forget it. We have to do the best we can and not give up! As a fellow 99er in FL, 1 of the worst states during this “designed” depression, and a true supporter of limited Govt idealism, I will vote for Paul/ Ventura regardless of their political affilation! As independents they have little chance of presidency in 2012 simply because the powers that be and their sheeple voters won’t allow it. What it will do is help 1 of the other parties to a presidental seat. I believe all affilations are BS used to divide and conquer! Repub, Demo, conservative, liberal, who allows themself to be so pigeon holed and narrow minded?! Unfortunately the majority do! There is absolutely no doubt that Paul/ Ventura is the ONLY true/best chance to restore US back to what this once great country was founded upon. People thought Jesse Ventura would never be elected as Govonor of Minnesota.Who’s going to vote a wrestler into office! People wanted change here in Minnesota. And by God, we got change. He did many good things here in this corporate corrupt government discriminating crap hole we live in now. Might not have liked everything he did. But, he fine tuned Minnesota, and the state made money, everyone had jobs, and worked hard. We felt good.
Since the Bush era. I will vote for an Independent, before anyone else. I voted for Jesse, and proud of it. I didn’t always care for some of his mannerism(watch some of the past videos when he was Govonor). But the Media here in Minnesota are Republicans, not good, they were not kind, nor respectful towards Jesse. They hammered him every chance they got! It was disgusting.
Anyway, Ron Paul & Jesse Ventura Independent’s sure they got my vote. The unemployed people here in Minnesota are gutless. You can’t get anyone to speak about the EU word.
