The slant of the propaganda is now taking on the face of deregulation. For the past two years we have been force fed the idea that the deregulation during the Bush era is what caused our most recent economic collapse. How many times will they be allowed to use the same con over and over before we stand up in unison and say, “No more.”
Most 99ers are old enough to remember the savings and loans collapse of the 1970s. And what did they say to us back then? It is not right that you tax payers are having to bail the banks out who caused this collapse through criminal mismanagement. They further said that we are going to put such regulations on the banks that it will be insured that this will never happen again. Now we have gone from, “We must regulate” to “We must deregulate” in just two years, which tells me that another mass screwing is on the horizon.
As for the 99ers, they have left us off balance and demoralized by simply ignoring us. I was going to suggest new strategies today, however I will wait as it seems that at present the majority of the 99ers have assumed the fetal position and are far too busy wallowing in their own sorrow to take any actions to correct the situation. I have seen no tendency to take on the front line troops of our enemies. In fact the propagandists seem to be resting content in their comfort zone. Until preliminary attacks have been made upon the propaganda machine, any further maneuvers would be premature.
In observing the situation I cannot say that I see the majority of the 99ers doing anything but throwing their hands up and surrendering. To these spineless cowards I say, history will judge you through the eyes of your grandchildren.
As for the rest of us, we are just too few and too scattered to fight as 99ers for the cause of 99ers. If enough people have not come around by spring time, we must wash our hands of the whole concept of the 99ers and form up in other organizations if we are to insure our own survival and chance at a future for our grandchildren.
I am not a person to give up easily but any group of people who can maintain cowardice even through despotism is doomed to annihilation. It is like showing up to a fight where you bring a hundred people with you to face ten opponents and just before the fight begins you find out there are only four other people besides yourself who are not cowards. In fact you turn around and the other 95 are running the other way.
Our enemies have calculated that the mass majority among us will not fight and they are being proven right. If our forefathers are able to look upon us I’m sure they have turned their backs in shame. Our only hope is that there are enough out there not among the targeted 99ers that will take up the fight in time to save our beloved Republic. And if we do manage to pull it off we will take the rest of these miserable cowards and make slaves out of them as that seems to be the fate they are most comfortable with.
I guess it’s time to reflect on the reality we are presented with and make the best decisions we can accordingly.
Thank you so much Henry for this article. You don’t ever have to worry about me standing by your side. When you look I will be there. I have been so angry at the 99ers for doing nothing to try and help our cause. I mean leaving your name, email address and the address of your unemployment office is not a hugh request. I don’t know what else to do. I can’t even get any results off of facebook. What is it going to take? We could have already had our Tier V and also qualifed for a Tier VI if necessary. Unemployment insurance should be paid to every single American, including the 99ers at least throughout 2011. By doing this, the economy will start to improve and I guarantee there will be more jobs. I’m going to try and come up with something else to post and let them know that the situation they are in is their own fault for refusing to do anything. If you come up with something I would be happy to post it for you. There are other 99ers on this site that will stand with us. I don’t know what the future holds but you are my friend and I have a lot of respect for you and I will never give up.
Barbara, I’ve never had a single doubt about you. As you said I cannot understand people that know we are 15 million strong and yet seem to have no desire to fight those hell bent on their destruction. All I can figure is that they are so institutionalized in the system they cannot accept the degree to which they have been betrayed. A lot of people fear having their name put on a list. I suppose what they do not realize is that their name is already on a list, which says “Exterminate” at the top of it.
We will continue to stand side by side but if the 99ers do not grow some guts pretty soon, we may have to start keeping different company. I’ve said it before and I will say it again, they chose our generation. If they would have targeted the generation younger than us, they would have been stopped by people fighting for their children. If they would have targeted the generation older than us, well, at present attacking old people is still frowned upon in this country. If you think about it turning their backs on us is pure profit. Too young to retire and as we do not have young children they do not have to give us welfare. I’m sure that the realization that our people won’t fight has been icing on the cake to them.
At any rate there are people in other walks of life who are not cowardly and are prepared to fight the war. If the rest of the 99ers are so weak that they are good for nothing except fodder for the slaughter then we will just have to say we tried and wash our hands of them.

That is what I tell everyone. They are targeting our generation. However, are people stupid and just can’t see this? The lady at the unemployment office told me. She said they are not suppose to refuse to hire you due to your age but she said that statistics prove that even as early as 40 they are discriminating. Everyone I worked with (over 60 people), that are still not working are in our age group. I have so many friends that have lost everything. The one good thing about our age group is that we have grown children. I can’t imagine having small children and not being able to find a job. My luck just sucks right now. My car has been broke for about a month and I didn’t want to fix it right now but my husband’s truck has been giving us trouble and today we could hardly even drive it. We made it over to the truck dealership and left it. They called a few hours ago and said it was the clutch and pressure plate and it would cost $1,400 to fix. After I pulled myself off of the floor, I told them to fix it. I know I should just be thankful that I have the money to have it fixed but dang I wish I could have some good luck once in a while.
Thank you for the great article. I think many people don’t know about this, it’s not that they are not willing to fight. In the past there were a handful of radio and t.v. stations people listened to, everyone’s attention is divided into many outlets now so it’s harder to get the word out.
Henry, thanks for all of your articles, they are so very true, I am a 99’er and I am down with this fight to the end, but we need a movement on this rich and elite situation, not just a march. These people have taken control of our Government and us and they are trying to get rid of 90% of the population, They use divide and conquer, fear tactics, brain-washing and money to control the people. They own all of the major TV stations, there is only one way to stop these psychopaths and that is In their pocket books, but we have got to educate and unite the people before it is to late. In 1995 a million man march was called and almost 2 million people showed up in Wasington D.C., it was non violent; however, the media reported less. He was able to accomplish this march by education,organization,truth, unity and great leadership, a lot of these people were poor, but they came from all over the country. Henry, a lot of people, like my self, are mad as hell and just need time to cool off. We are going to fight for more extensions, until they clean up this dam mess that they created from greed………I am down with you 100%!!!!!!

If you could help spread the word by directing people to this website, perhaps our numbers will start to grow. Our only hope right now is in numbers and the unemployed are just not wanting to get involved. I have also been blocked on certain sites for speaking the truth. Can’t even tell you how much i hate these scum in Corporate America. I have always loathed and despised them (since I was job hunting in the 80’s) but now it seems they have put all other alternatives out of business so you are either supposed to die on the streets or work for them. I have been posting to angry blogs like this one for a long time now just to keep the dialog of hate fresh. WE REALLY HAVE TO BOYCOTT ALL FORTUNE 500 as much as possible. It’s the only thing besides shooting people in the streets that might work….but only if everyone did it.
