After a week’s rest our Congress will be taking a couple more weeks off for Spring Break and truly this is not unreasonable as screwing the American people 24 hours a day, 7 days a week has to be exhausting. And now the Tea Party is reportedly upset because the Republicrats are not cutting spending enough.
When the Tea Party first grew up from its grass roots while Bush was in office, I thought it was a good movement that was bound to cause positive change. And evidently so did the enemies of the 99ers and the middle class. This is when rich elitists like the Koch brothers stepped up and financed the infiltration and takeover of the Tea Party by the Neo-Cons.
I had hoped that those in the grass roots of the Tea Party would find a way to cut away the cancer that had infected the movement at the top. I had hoped that the 99ers and the working poor would join with the Tea Party in peaceably taking the United States back for the people.
But this cannot be. I know that the Tea Party consists of good patriotic people at its roots, but in allowing the infiltration by people like Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Newt Gingrich, and Michelle Bachmann the credibility of the movement has been gravely damaged.
And when the only Tea Partiers being shown on television from the ranks of the people are the same Neo-Cons posing as Christian conservatives that put George Bush into office, the rest of the population begins to see the movement as repugnant and detrimental to those who might elect Ron Paul to the office of president in the 2012 election.
I hate to say it as a lot of work has gone into the creation of the Tea Party, but if the true Tea Partiers cannot separate themselves from the phony Neo-Con conservatives, they need to break from the Tea Party and form a new organization that will allow for the inclusion of every patriotic, Constitution supporting American.
This needs to be done now. If the entire patriotic population cannot be united for the single cause of the restitution of the Republic through peaceful political action then it will most assuredly be organized in factional military militia to solve the problem through war. And in truth this is probably what it is going to come down to as in the end the only way numbers defeat wealth is through violent revolution.
Anyway, some food for thought and to the true Tea Partiers I say that many 99ers are coming together as patriots and yearn to be reunited with their brethren and sisteren in the middle class and in support of every effort towards the restitution of our beloved Republic.
God bless the Republic, death to the international corporate mafia, the free people of the United States will prevail.
There should have been a violent revolution a long time ago but ignorance seems to be bliss for the vast majority of people. The attitude seems to be well ” that’s just the way things are and there’s nothing I can do about it “……….
I would really like to know how many weeks Congress actually works. It’s not like they are doing anything while they are in session. Perhaps they are working all these weeks and are instructed to make a list of possible ways to destroy the working class and working poor while enjoying their vacations. Henry, I am embarrassed to say this but I don’t fully understand the “Tea Party”. You have such a great way of explaining things, could you help me out?
Reduce their pay to 50k a yr, and make them live in military housing,

The Tea Party started back when the collapse began and George Bush started giving billions in bailouts to the filthy rich. At its inception it was seen by those in the patriot movement as a part of the Ron Paul revolution. It had to do with stopping the spread of socialism, ending the Federal Reserve, and reinstituting the Republic under the Constitution.
Since its infiltration it has been perverted into a re-insurgence of the Neo-Con movement that put George Bush into office and greatly contributed to our economic downfall.
I follow the patriot movement through many forums and I assure you that the true Tea Partiers at the grass roots support the 99ers whole heartedly as they know what is really going on and that their jobs are next.
It is the same old story. Through their propaganda machine our enemies are trying to make themselves appear as mainstream as they are killing off what’s left of the middle class. In the end their downfall will be what it has always been through history, and that is mistaking kindness for weakness in dealing with the people that can become the most violent savages on this planet when provoked.
The true American citizens are at present like a dysfunctional family. Though we are not communicating with one another like we should be, one day soon they are going to hurt one of us in a way that is unacceptable to the rest, after which they are going to find out that they have caused lightening to strike the shit house. I promise you it will be finished, once begun.
I’ve said it before, they should be forced to hold town meetings everyday in their districts when they are not in washington. That way they can be told first hand what we expect of them. They used to hold these meetings a year or two ago and as you know many of them had bad experiences when they were called out-including obamo. intensioned.
i agree with jp we should only pay them a fraction of what they receive, and their benefits as well, also maybe if we keep our big nose out of other countries and then cut the defence budget some we could find plenty of money to fund hr589!!!

I disagree. I think we should treat them like they want to treat the teachers. What do you say we make their compensation based on performance? That way we could not only completely stop paying them and take away their benefit packages, but assess what they need to pay us back for the past thirty years as their performance has been in the negative since then.
I would love to really know what these people do on a day in day out basis. They act like its really important stuff and it is but I’m sure most of it is just regular bs. Breakfest then screw around, Lunch then screw around, attend a meeting then screw around, make a vote when required then screw around. Do this for a couple of weeks and they need a few weeks off, must be real tough life.
I think that these people should have to punch a thime clock,so they only get paid for time that they put in at there job ,not on the gulf coarse,or lunching and so on. i think that you would see thing a little different. I think that they are way over paid .so by doing this it would help say a lot of money that us tax payers dish out to them..
Thanks for explaining it to me Henry. I am a little dissapointed that we did not get more hits from all the posting this week. Late last night I posted our situation, begged for recognition and a voice for the 99ers to the people involved in the new series, “Secret Millionaire”. I know this is a long stretch but I don’t care. You never know when you might find that special person who will investigate our cause and decide to help us.

Go on yet another vacation!! I havent had a real”vacation” in years due to Corporate greed and corrupt Gov’t!! Congress isnt worried that they will be homeless and hopeless like many of us”99ers”. this would give us our voice in the otherwise non existent media coverage of the 99ers.
Greed will ensure a network broadcasting it, and finally our message hits the airwaves.
Now im certain there are among us many in the field who can assist us in its organization,
writing and producing of such… im also sure that even at a dollar each X the millions of
us unemployed we could make quite our own media representation…
we could expose them by name, by act and by deed… watch how quick we get action

I can put my dollar in and cover some of my fellow 99ers. The Lord has blessed me as my husband is on social security, so we are able to live.
There maybe 2 political parties, but had a third party had araisen and is call the 99ners’. Ther 99ners will vote the Republicans out, the Reps was handed the majority control of the Senate but then they pissed it off. Unemploymented are not exclusive Dems but of both parties! I had been a Rep all my life, I don’t always see eye to eye withe the Dems but when 2012 comes I will not vote Republican!
