NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) — Dog wardens were fanning out across municipalities in Montgomery County this week, checking to make sure dog owners have obtained licenses for their pets.

It’s the law in Pennsylvania: all dogs three months or older must be licensed each year.  So, dog wardens have been going door-to-door in some communities, making sure the owner’s paperwork is in order.   Continue reading “Authorities in Montco Checking Door-to-Door For Valid Dog Licenses”

Outpost of Freedom – by Gary Hunt

Yesterday, when Massey arrived at the courthouse, there were about twenty agents in battle gear and a number of DHS Suburbans parked in front of the courthouse. After going in to the courthouse, he had to visit the Pre-Trial Services. There, he was approached by two agents who wanted to see his sunglasses. They inspected them, thoroughly, and then returned them to Massey. I suppose this is the future — what we can expect because of Google-Glasses. However, finding that they were not dangerous, they were returned to their owner.   Continue reading “Camp Lone Star – Act One: The Government Charade”

Thirty-one million IQ points. That’s what Dr. David Bellinger determined Americans have collectively forfeited as a result of exposure to lead, mercury, and organophosphate pesticides. In a 2012 paper published by the National Institutes of Health, Bellinger, a professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School, compared intelligence quotients among children whose mothers had been exposed to these neurotoxins while pregnant to those who had not. Bellinger calculates a total loss of 16.9 million IQ points due to exposure to organophosphates, the most common pesticides used in agriculture.   Continue reading “The Toxins That Threaten Our Brains”

Florida Air Guard is to deploy 12 F-15C jets and about 200 airmen to Europe as part of Washington’s military build-up, which it claims is necessary to protect European NATO members from ‘Russian aggression.’

The fighters and troops from the 125th Fighter Wing of the Florida Air National Guard are to go to Europe in mid-April, the US Air Forces in Europe reported this week. The F-15C Eagles are equipped with advanced air-to-air radar and sniper targeting equipment that allows visual tracking at extremely long ranges.   Continue reading “US National Guard sends 12 F-15 interceptor jets to Europe to guard against Russia”

LONDON, March 27 (Reuters) – Royal Dutch Shell is moving oil rigs to Alaska ahead of the possible resumption of controversial drilling activities as the oil major awaits the green light from U.S. authorities.

The Anglo-Dutch oil major hopes to revive its Arctic drilling programme two years after the grounding of a rig in Alaska that led to a huge uproar from environmental groups.

But even before getting the go-ahead from the U.S. interior secretary, Shell is moving the drilling rigs Noble Discoverer and Polar Pioneer to the area in anticipation of the short operations window in summer.   Continue reading “Shell moves rigs to Alaska ahead of possible drilling permit”

Shortly after K. C. Massey was arrested, I spoke with him and we discussed the fact that he was a felon. He explained that he had turned his life around. So, I asked him to write a bit about his past — what went wrong and how he turned it around. However, before we get to what he had to say, when you read this, keep in mind that prison is supposed to be a rehabilitation system, not a means of vengeance or revenge. Any articles about recidivism show that those returning to prison usually do so within a few years. They never want to talk about those who have rehabilitated, whether a product of the system, or simply because they chose to change their own lives and live an exemplary life.   Continue reading “Camp Lone Star – Who is K. C. Massey?”

People in the USA, are being told by the U.S. government and media that global warming is man-made.  If that is true, how can the government and media explain the high temperatures the earth has experienced in past years when there were far fewer people?  Let us look back in the world’s history: for example, between roughly 900AD and 1350AD the temperatures were much higher than now.  And, back then there were fewer people, no cars, no electric utilities, and no factories, etc. So what caused the earth’s heat?  Could it be a natural occurrence?  The temperature graph, shown below, shows the temperatures of the earth before Christ to 2040.   Continue reading “Why There Is Global Warming”

Reid's involvement highlights the seriousness of the problem he may have dealing with a member in his ranks who’s expected to be indicted within weeks.Breitbart – by MICHAEL PATRICK LEAHY

Details in this week’s Department of Homeland Security’s Inspector General’s report reveal only part of the story behind Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid’s (D-NV) abuse of his political office in 2012 and 2013. Through a brazen intervention, Reid ultimately forced the Department of Homeland Security to bend to his will in a way that benefited his political allies and family.

The report concluded that Reid pressured a compliant DHS official to override normal departmental procedures and rush through 230 EB-5 foreign visa applications, thereby freeing up $115 million the applicants invested in the SLS Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The report did not, however, reveal the now confirmed fact that the owner of that casino project had hired Reid’s son, Rory Reid, to provide legal representation for the project.   Continue reading “Harry Reid Pressured DHS to Expedite $115 Million Foreign Investors EB-5 Visa Deal Critical to Son’s Casino Client”

There is no doubt among Americans that there were thirteen colonies engaged in the struggle with Great Britain just over two hundred years ago. Most will recognize names such as the Green Mountain Boys, Ethan Allen and the Battle of Bennington. Few, however, recognize the role played by this isolated area in our quest for independence.

Vermont, geographically nestled between New York and New Hampshire, was, without a doubt, part of the number that cast off British control of the colonies. Both geographically and evidenced by their full participation, they were as much a colony, that arose from the conflict as, any of other thirteen colonies.   Continue reading “Vermont – The Fourteenth Colony”

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch)—As the global economy grows, the world is going to get a lot more thirsty in 2030 if steps aren’t taken to cut back on fresh water use now, the United Nations says.

At current usage rates, the world will have 40% less fresh water than it needs in 15 years, according to the United Nations World Water Assessment Program in its 2015 report, which came out ahead of the U.N.’s World Water Day on Sunday.   Continue reading “World faces 40% water shortfall in 15 years: U.N.”
