LOUISVILLE, Ky. – It may sound far-fetched, but scientists are attempting to build a human heart with a 3D printer.
Ultimately, the goal is to create a new heart for a patient with their own cells that could be transplanted. It is an ambitious project to first, make a heart and then get it to work in a patient, and it could be years — perhaps decades — before a 3D printed heart would ever be put in a person. BEIJING, April 10 (Reuters) – A deal between China’s top refiner Sinopec Corp and Phillips 66 could be a game changer that signals the United States is on track to become one of the top suppliers of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to the world’s second-biggest economy.

A convoy of US Department of Interior’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) vehicles with armed federal agents faced-off with the public at their protest camp near Exit 112, off of Riverside Road in Bunkerville, Nevada.
The scene which took place this afternoon at 2pm PST, went violent after a detachment of federal agents pulled over and began threatening protesters and residents, before assaulting at least one woman and panicking and tasering protesters (see video below). The U.S. Bureau of Land Management announced it will kill hundreds of threatened desert tortoises it’s been caring for at a Nevada conservation facility. The slaughter is being blamed on a lack of funds by the agency.
Real estate developers in southern Nevada who wanted to disrupt the habitat of threatened desert tortoises to build their little enclaves of air conditioning and irrigation in the arid suburbs of Las Vegas have been able to do so — for a fee. And while at the height of the real estate boom those fees went a long way toward providing refuge for displaced tortoises, the real estate bust has seen the program implode.
