UN Refugee Agency

The 1951 Refugee Convention is the key legal document that forms the basis of our work. Ratified​ by 145 State parties, it defines the term ‘refugee’ and outlines the rights of the displaced, as well as the legal obligations of States to protect them.

The core principle is non-refoulement, which asserts that a refugee should not be returned to a country where they face serious threats to their life or freedom. Facebook is removing ALL posts that are shared from The Trenches that are on personal FB pages already (two that I am aware of) AND they won’t allow ANY reports from FTTWR to be shared on FB. I thought I was banned from both pages but I don’t think it’s just us.

Our brother, Donald Boettcher, has passed away after succumbing to a battle with cancer.

Got to thinking about the hundred mile drive to Medford and the back roads where there is no cell service.  Got to thinking about a man who had an appointment to meet a sheriff and was ambushed and murdered.  So I opted to do a whole bunch more work and file by certified mail with return receipt.
