A Florida man was arrested for allegedly firing a gun inside the lobby of a Miami Beach hotel in response to a family flouting social distancing norms, a report said.

On the 62nd night of violent antifa riots in Portland Thursday, rioters sent a chilling message to law enforcement. Many in the crowd seemed set on having a peaceful protest, even admonishing rioters when they set fires outside the federal courthouse. Regardless, some rioters engaged in what can only be described as terrorism. They put a severed pig’s head atop an American flag on the side of the road, placed a police hat on top of it, and set it on fire. A promotional video created by a Florida school district to illustrate what reopened classrooms will look like has been blasted by parents who say it feels like their children are being sent to ‘prison’.

This high level cop’s entire operation was conducted on duty, on official government computers, and also on Google.

Daniel Lee Collins allegedly uploaded sexual photos of underage girls to various Google accounts using the City of Dallas internet network, according to the Department of Justice. The Esselen Tribe, one of the state’s smallest and least well known tribes, inhabited the Santa Lucia Mountains and the Big Sur coast for thousands of years, according to their website. Nearly 250 years ago, their land was taken from them by Spanish explorers, according to the tribe’s history. The tribe remained landless until Monday. A recent case in Belarus has exposed the conditions laid by these agencies for loans being provided for COVID-19. It’s been less than two weeks since Miami-Dade County announced it would be fining people for not wearing masks in public. Already, Florida media outlets are filled with stories of people cited for wearing masks improperly, lowering masks to sip a drink, or removing their face coverings once outside of a store.

Amid protests taking place in major cities this weekend, universities were not immune to the violence.
Cities that experienced a rise in demonstrations this weekend included Portland, Oregon and Oakland, California. But violence spread to other cities, notably Richmond, Virginia, where police declared an “unlawful assembly” Saturday night, USA Today reports. The demonstrations were organized in advance and given the name of “Richmond Stands with Portland.” Six protesters were arrested on assorted charges. The owners of Atilis Gym, a gym in Bellmawr, NJ that was ordered by a New Jersey judge to close immediately, have been arrested on charges of contempt of court after refusing to comply.
Since it first defied the state and decided to reopen 2 months ago, the gym has become a local fixation, attracting protesters sympathetic with its cause.
