Florence, AL — Allen Hanvey, 51 — who has never been in trouble with police before — was scheduled to have neck surgery on November 20, 2018. The night before surgery, he had one final errand to run before he would get some rest and he and his wife would leave in the morning for Birmingham. He would never make that surgery, however, because he experienced a medical emergency and abusive cops showed up to “help” him. He was having a stroke but police thought he was drunk. Black Lives Matter protests erupted into violence across the country last night as ‘explosive devices’ were used against federal officers in Seattle and Portland, and a demonstrator was shot dead during a march in Austin.

There’s mask-shaming and then there’s full on assault. A California couple having lunch with their puppy at a dog park experienced the second, when an irate woman pepper-sprayed them for refusing to mask up… while eating.
Ash O’Brien and husband Jarett Kelley say they were grabbing a bite to eat at Dusty Rhodes dog park in San Diego on Thursday, with their three-month-old pug in tow. The pair had their masks off to eat, when a “random old lady” approached, calling them “idiots” for not masking up, even though “you can’t wear a mask and eat at the same time.”

House Republicans were asleep at the wheel this week and missed a major piece of gun control legislation buried deep in the original text of H.R. 6395, a $740.5 billion National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) on Tuesday—legislation they had unanimously voted out of committee.

William Edward Miller Jr., 51, reportedly raped a 14-year-old girl and later forced an 11-year-old boy to have sex with her as he watched, and he is a free man. NEW YORK – In his conference call Thursday, Governor Cuomo announced new restrictions on bars and restaurants to enforce compliance with social distancing protocols.

The Washington Post on Friday agreed to settle a monster $250 million lawsuit filed by Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann over its botched coverage of his 2019 encounter with a Native American elder.

Federal agents violently clashed with about 2,000 Portland protesters overnight just hours after the Justice Department said it was investigating the use of force during demonstrations and President Trump threatened to send 60,000 officers into more cities.
The bloody standoff between protesters and authorities, which lasted into the early hours of Friday, marked the 57th straight day of unrest in Oregon’s largest city as residents continue to demonstrate against racism and police brutality. A riot was declared in Portland just after midnight Thursday morning after Mayor Ted Wheeler’s tense visit with protesters— where he was booed, told to resign, given a list of demands and tear-gassed by federal agents.
His visit ended with his security detail engaging in a struggle with protesters late Wednesday night as they worked to get the mayor to safety, a report said.
