Several officers arrived to the call that night and placed King in handcuffs at which point Officer Joseph Smith lost his temper and began a disturbing assault on the handcuffed man. In a ruling that directly violates international law and conventions against the use of torture, the Israeli High Court ruled Monday that Israeli intelligence officers were justified in their use of torture against a Palestinian prisoner. The ruling sets a precedent for the future use of torture and the expansion of such techniques used against Palestinians held in Israeli custody.

Smithville, OH — A disturbing video shows the reality of what education in a police state looks like as a non-violent teen was tasered by school resource officer over an argument about a dress code violation.

According to Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Doug Huner, the teen was being non-compliant and refusing to obey officials in regard to a disciplinary issue. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) received two more F-35I aircraft this weekend, bringing the IAF’s total inventory of fifth-generation fighters up to 14.

Since receiving its first pair of F-35Is in December 2016, Israel’s inventory of F-35 jets has grown at a slow and steady pace. The IDF officially cleared its first F-35 aircraft for live operations last December. Israel is the only nation in the Middle East with active F-35 aircraft that are ready for operations, the Jerusalem Post reported Monday. A federal agent testified Friday that Harold “H.L.” Moody, who was fired last week from his job as special events coordinator for Pulaski County Youth Services, distributed child pornography and smoked methamphetamine out of a glass pipe while seated at his desk in the county administration building during regular work hours.

Milwaukee, WI — Disturbing body camera footage was recently released showing Milwaukee police shoot an unarmed man on a rooftop. The man was holding nothing but his cellphone and had committed no crime when an officer opened fire.

The newly-released body camera footage shows multiple officers chasing Jerry Smith Jr., who was 19 at the time. The officers have Smith cornered on a rooftop as they yell at him to put up his hands.
