Despite increased security at border crossing points, the 19-year-old mother-to-be managed to climb over the US-Mexico wall, but ended up under border agents’ scrutiny after she delivered a son at a local hospital.

A Honduran woman is believed to be the first member of the migrant caravan to deliver a baby in the United States and now hopes her son will gain American birth right citizenship, which Trump threatened to put an end to in October. A 60-page advice brochure for German kindergartens instructs teachers on how to identify and deal with children from ‘far-right’ families. Critics say it encourages spying and equates wearing braids and dresses with nationalism.

Parents asked for help from Liberty Counsel, a Florida-based non-profit that says it works on First Amendment religious liberty issues, the Omaha World-Herald reports. Liberty Counsel shared a copy of Sinclair’s memo, but the school district declined share what she had sent.

Liberty Counsel wrote to the school district on Nov. 30 demanding the “reversal of the comprehensive ban on all Christmas holiday symbols” because it “violates the U.S. Constitution by showing hostility toward Christianity.” Liberty Counsel didn’t call for Sinclair to be fired.   Continue reading “Nebraska principal put on leave after ‘banning’ Santa, Christmas trees, candy canes”

The Department of Defense will begin assigning thousands of immigrants holding green cards to basic training, reversing a Trump administration policy that delayed their service as they were subjected to enhanced background checks.

The policy change, first reported by the Washington Post, follows a preliminary injunction issued by U.S. District Judge Jon S. Tigar in the Northern District of California in mid-November. He sided with two lawful permanent residents who argued that they were discriminated against by the Pentagon policy that delayed their service for more than a year and left them in limbo between a military and civilian career.   Continue reading “Pentagon Will Train Recruits Holding Green Cards Following Court Order”

If you aren’t familiar with his work, independent journalist Andy Ngo has made something of a career out of chronicling the outright douchebaggery of the antifa movement and the coziness of the Portland and Seattle governments with that movement. His efforts have discomfited the antifa and irritated politicians. And, along the way, it has given all of us a view of what happens when a governmental entity stops trying to enforce laws equally and decides that supporting a violent and extreme political faction is the way to gain popularity.   Continue reading “Why Have Seattle’s Police Become Enforcers For The Antifa?”

Many consider it a Christmas classic but radio stations are refusing to play the song ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’ because it’s lyrics have run afoul of the #MeToo movement. However fans are now pushing back against the banishment.

The yule-tide favorite was originally recorded for the 1949 film Neptune’s Daughter and it went on to scoop an Oscar in the Best Original Song category. It’s been a feature of the festive season every year since. However its days may be numbered because campaigners allege that it propagates rape culture.   Continue reading “‘PC stuff is getting ridiculous’: Radio stations axe Christmas classic due to #MeToo concerns”

Americans for Tax Reform – by John Kartch

Democrat Florida Congressman Ted Deutch has introduced a carbon tax bill to impose a new national energy tax on the American people. The bill is a massive tax increase which will increase utility bills and the price of all products and services. In classic politician-speak, Deutch has dubbed it “The Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act of 2018.”

Voters across the USA — even in blue areas — have consistently rejected carbon taxes when faced with the issue at the ballot box. See the timeline here. On top of that, Paris is burning as hundreds of thousands of French citizens — yes even the French — protest that country’s own carbon taxes.   Continue reading “Details of the Horrible Carbon Tax Bill”

Around the world, governments attempt to limit subjects’ legal access to weapons—ostensibly to keep the peace, but in reality often done to minimize challenges to government power. And, around the world, those subjects defy such restrictions, often going so far as to manufacture weapons outside official channels. In fact, DIY firearms ranging in sophistication from muskets to grenade launchers exist in the millions across the planet, according to a new report that should (but won’t) finally demonstrate to government officials the futility of efforts to disarm people who insist on being free.  Continue reading “When Governments Restrict Guns, People Make Their Own By the Millions”
