What is DNS? When you type a site name, it is meaningless to a computer. Your computer sends the site’s name to a DNS server and the DNS server then tells your computer what IP address the site is at, and your computer then accesses that IP address. Having the IP address work correctly has to be set up on purpose. Normally you cannot just hit a site’s IP and have it load. This site is an exception. Things seem to be working backwards at The Commons on St. Anthony nursing home in Auburn, New York. Vaccinating people is supposed to reduce or end coronavirus deaths. Right? But, at The Commons, such deaths are reported to have occurred only after residents began receiving coronavirus vaccinations.

James T. Mulder wrote Saturday at syracuse.com that until December 29 there had been no coronavirus deaths at The Commons. Parler has dropped offline after Amazon kicked the conservative-friendly site off its hosting service in the early hours of Monday morning, following Apple and Google’s move to block the fledgling social network over the weekend.

On Monday morning, at 3am EST, Parler, the social networking site popular among American conservatives, was taken offline after Amazon pulled support, claiming the site was allowing “threats of violence” in the wake of a deadly riot at the US Capitol. ISLAMABAD — A major technical fault in Pakistan’s power generation and distribution system caused a massive power outage that plunged the country into darkness overnight, the energy minister said.

China’s ultimate objective of its Caribbean strategy may well be to confront the U.S., not only with its presence near the mainland U.S., but also with a situation analogous to America’s military presence in the region of the South China Sea.
