The Prince William County, Virginia Board of Supervisors hopes to turn up the pressure on federal immigration officials to reveal more details about undocumented criminals referred by the county for action.
Chairman Corey Stewart helped lead a crackdown in 2007 on undocumented immigrants who committed crimes in the county, but he’s frustrated that U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) won’t reveal whether criminals sent to them by the county are deported or freed.
